I haven’t worn much red lipsticks the whole 2020. The previous year felt gloomy with the outbreak of COVID-19 plus mask wearing.

Face mask is still a requirement but I felt a bit more optimistic this year so I welcome reds! And I am glad Cathy Doll has comfortable reds, so comfortable to wear even for girls with DEHYDRATED lips! Yes, you got me - this one works even if you have dry lips!

A true deep red with blue undertone.

Housed in a matte red packaging with doe foot applicator, I am impressed with the packaging, the applicator and even more impressed with pigmentation. They apply so seamlessly, non-drying and does n ot enhance my dry lip lines. It can actually hydrate my lips without the need for lip balm.

The only downside is that they will transfer on mugs or cups and maybe some on face mask. I highly recommed to mattify and set them properly before wearing mask because there will be a bit of smudging!

Thankful for inexpensive brands coming up with high quality products. Yes, they are super high quality for the price so I don’t mind a bit of transferring because the exchange for that is that it doesn’t make my lips feel dry, tight and uncomfortable!
