Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long Wear Brow Pencil Review

Today, I will be sharing a super nice eyebrow pencil from the brand Bobbi Brown called Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long Wear Brow Pencil in Espresso.

I have always been a fan of this brand in terms of professional and personal use.  I have relied on the Bobbi Brown Gel Liner for so many years I can’t seem to survive without them in my kit.

For the first time, I tried their Eyebrow pencil and I was literally shaking my head thinking: “Why just NOW?”

Apologies for the Quarantine brows!  I haven’t had my brows professionally trimmed and shaped professionally.  I kind of enjoyed this bushy brow “Brooke Shields” effect.

So back to this pencil, there are a total of 8 shades on website - Espresso is located at 2nd to the last (Meaning 2nd to the last darkest shade!). It is defined as A black brown; for dark/darkest brown to black hair with a neutral undertone.

This shade is perfect for my hair color and skin tone!  It was like I went to the store and the SA handpicked this for me!

Use the flat side of the pencil to fill in the head of the brow, and then with the pointed tip use short strokes to define the arch and tail. For a bolder look, use the pointed tip to define the length of the brow, and then go over the edges for added definition. Comb hairs into place using the attached spoolie.

I tried doing as told and this is one of the easiest brow pencil to work with even first-time brow pencil users can appreciate!  The texture is smooth yet not too soft or hard so you won’t have issues on “tugging” your brow area or having to worry about breaking your eyeliner pencil! 

The pigmentation is just right, nothing too dark or light, no matter how much pressure (or the least amount of pressure) I use, the result is consistently the same - just check out my swatch photo above!  

With the angled tip, it is very easy to mimic brow hairs!  Just look how natural the application was on this short IGTV below!

As for longevity, the brow pencil stayed until makeup removal even with full day of household chores - cooking, tutoring my son, working out! 

I highly recommend this pencil and keep in mind to choose the right shade for you - it makes a lot of difference!  Another good news?  You may repurchase a REFILL!  Saves the environment, Saves money!
