Dear Dahlia Paradise Dream Velvet Lip Mousse Swatches and Review

I got the 6-piece set of mini Dear Dahlia Paradise Dream Velvet Lip Mousse via Sephora PH website and it was the best decision as I get to feel my favorite shade without spending a lot. Priced at Php980.00, I got 6 shades to work with and a tube would probably last me more than 15 uses because they are highly opaque and pigmented.

Paradise Dream Velvet Lip Mousse with a unique whipped velvety texture effortlessly glides onto your lips offering a dreamy soft-focus powdery matte finish. The weightless, high-pigment formula continuously wraps your lips with intense color ensuring long-wear without the drying discomfort.

A closer look on all 6 swatches. The first 3 look almost similar to each other on my pigmented lips but if you have light colored lips, you’ll see the difference of each shade easily. Kindly check out my photo wearing each shade from top to bottom (from photo above). I apologize for not being able to name each shade because they are too small for my “aged eyes” LOL

Based from my eyesight, this one is the lightest shade among the 6 and I love this for the natural effect and youthful vibe it exudes. For the first time, I can wear such shade without much makeup on and look healthy.

Shade 2 is similar to shade 1 but I can see it is 2 tones darker than the first. This is perfect for those who prefer nude lipcolor but with medium to darker complexion.

The third shade on the other hand has more orange tone as compared to the first 2, I would call this peach on swatch but it looks slightly different upon wearing! This can also pass as my very NUDE Lips look!

And again, happy to report that this works on my skintone - seldom do they work on my unique warm understone but for some reason, this works!

Shade 4 though similarly light as the first 3 has an obvious orange tint, it has a strong orange tint than brown/tan so this is a perfect shade for those who can’t commit on nude lipsticks! This shade is refreshing to look at and gives a super teeny-boppy vibes! I can totally use this if I am still professionally doing makeup to a 16 year old! Or I would call this a perfect Prom Makeup Shade!

The last 2 shades give off a perfect balance to the collection. After getting all the “nudes” and “almost nude” shades, I would like some pop of color and the Bestseller Collection nailed that request from most consumers!

A red orange shade that has more blue tone red than warm tone orange! Thankfully, it does not make my teeth yellow like most orange red tone lippies.

Lastly, my favorite deep burgundy shade from the collection. My face lit up looking from a youthful angel to a more mature daredevil —- am I ready for mature roles? (Hahahaha)
