When it comes to Filipinio Fashion Icon, Heart Evangelista-Escudero’s name will definitely surface and I can understand why!
Look at her! Aside from being a beauty and having a top eye for fashion - she herself is a creative genius!
Just like the “Love Marie” bag she designed and used in one of her episodes of I Left My Heart in Sorsogon! *SPOTTED INDEED*! Aside from that, Heart wore a pair of shoes designed by Steffy, the Davao-based designer. That simply means Heart lovingly supports local designers as well! Bless her Heart #PunIntended
And not only that, since the show I Left My Heart in Sorsogon promotes the work of local designers in general, here are some of the style icons you should also watch out for!
There’s Marina Benipayo and Issa Litton! I have known Issa in various events as a host and I can totally say, her fashion is amazing! Timeless and classy.
Marina Benipayo’s fashion, on the other hand, also screams classy. But don’t be fooled by the classy lady, she can turn feisty n ot only in her acting but also through her fashion! You can easily spot her in a lot of her glam fashion!
Check out these photos I got of them wearing fashionable pieces straight from a fashion magazine!
Marina Benipayo’s role plays the role of Vivian Wenceslao, a very wealthy and controlling sister of Tonito and I had to screen grab this outfit as there are no words needed when it comes to high fashion! An outfit you would totally wear for a wedding or very important affair with government officials and socialites!
Out of all her OOTD, this is by far my most favorite of them all!
I would totally sport a white long pants and a silk yellow top - yellow works for Filipina skintone so this would look wonderful on anyone - mayaman ka man o hindi! :P
I highly suggest you follow them on Instagram because of their super relatable OOTDs. @marina_benipayo and @ issalitton.
Kudos to Filipino designers and creatives for such amazing show and wardrobe ideas!
Congratulations GMA Telebabad for “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon” for featuring not only the beauty of Filipinas but the Philippines in the eyes of Sorsogon.
Stay happy!
