AMW Reviews: Amu'in Shower Gel

I am a soap user and have always been, but soaps no matter how moisturizing they call themselves, aren't enough for my super dry skin.  Recently, I've been purchasing Bath Lotion or Shower Gel to ease up my dryness while taking a shower.  When I was given the chance to try the Amu'in range of products, I jumped in the chance as an all natural products are always a big YES for me.

After my review on the "Alaga" (Care) line including the Hand Sanitizer and the Moisturizing Hand Lotion, it's time for me to give "Sigla" (Energy) a try!  This time, its a shower gel!

Amu'in Shower Gel in Sigla says ---

Jump start your day and bring the sunshine in with this moisturizing and cleansing body wash using refreshing Lemongrass, Peppermint, May Chang, and Lemon essential oils with Mango Extract.

AMW says ---

Pros

• locally made
• natural ingredients
• no allergies
• it doesn't dry out my skin
• energizes me a bit
• nice and simple packaging
  

Cons

• not safe for pregnant women
• not everyone would like the scent, it may get too tiring to the nose if used longer
• for international readers: Locally made, so have to purchase online
• scent is gone by an hour or so (I don't mind about this)

Tips

• perfect to use this with a wash cloth
• mix the shower gel in a tub of water then dip your wash cloth to gently scrub your body
• always follow with body lotion or cream right after shower to keep your skin moisturized.
  

Overall

The Amu'in Shower Gel in Sigla is a nice addition for your morning routine, its scent does energize me during shower but a cup of coffee is still needed for me to last the day :)

Will I repurchase?
I don't think so, don't get me wrong, this is a good  product but I seldom repurchase the same brand of shower gels!

Do you remember the first time you held hands with your first boyfriend/girlfriend? Guys probably do not feel this way, but I felt self-conscious! Because I feel that I have laundry hands, actually I did have laundry hands when I was younger, I guess when you're born with pretty face, your hands aren't perfect *major laugh!!!!* lol (where did that come from?) hahahaha I am laughing so hard now! So sorry! hahaha

Anyways, back to my story, I've always had laundry hands and holding hands with my first boyfriend, KEITH :D, was the best and worst moment of my life! The moment was ruined as I'm super self-conscious with how he feels after holding my hands. Will my dry hands turn him off? Well, it obviously didn't but he did admitted to me that I have dry hands back then!
How I wish there are easy-to-bring hand lotion before!

Overall

As you read in the first part of this post, I do have dry, rough hands. I thought when you're born with it, you're doomed to live with it. That is totally untrue! I learn that being consistent in applying your hand lotion will help the texture of your hands. Just like anti-aging products, it does take time and the time and effort pays off! I seriously have better hands due to my constant application of hand lotions, and having a hand lotion that's easy to take along, plus the scent that relaxes you, is a wonderful plus! It isn't hard to be loyal to Amu'in Alaga Moisturizing Hand Lotion.


Tips

• According to Amu'in: Store in cool dry place, avoid light and heat, do not use if pregnant, not to be taken internally. Keep out of reach of children. Use within 12 months after opening. Natural ingredients may cause color variations.
• re-apply as much as needed, but make sure to wash your hands before you eat.
  
• if you want to take the hand lotion everywhere you go, purchase their travel sizes. Size is 25ml

In today's time, nothing beats being healthy! If only we could go around in a huge bubble to protect ourselves from the germs we touch! What do do then?

I always carry a small bottle of alcohol around, I also carry my wipes! What else could the germ-phobic ask for? Something more.........

Overall

This is a convenient way to santize my hand! 2-4 Spritz, I am ready to go and I smell the wonderful scent of Lemongrass, Lime and Sweet Orange, blended together forms a very light whiff of "comfort".

When I do makeup for my clients, I always use regular alcohol or alco-gel which is quite overwhelming to the nose! I want my clients to "know" that my hands are sanitized but I don't need to burn their noses with strong alocholic scent!

This product came in perfect! Clients see that my hands are sanitized and their noses are thanking me for the relaxation! :D

Everytime I feel stressed at work, I would spritz this a couple of times on my hands, and follow it up with the Amu'in Alaga Hand Lotion, closed my eyes and relax for a couple of seconds! I love it that I'm having my own "aromatherapy" anytime..anywhere!


Tips

• use within 12 months after opening
• for pregnant women, try to steer away from this product (safety precautions)
• take this along in your bag to spritz on your hands, or areas you would love to sanitize! Doesn't hurt that this smells great as I use this on public toilets!
• always sniff the scent prior to purchasing, I could find this scent relaxing for me, but NOT for you
