Unboxing my October SaladBox

Good morning everyone!

I may be late in this post but it's actually my fault! I assumed the first SaladBox I received was for the month of October and this box I will be featuring today is for November! Please blame the pregnancy hormones!  I read that being forgetful is part of process!  *winks*  

I won't be doing an in depth review on the service just as last time (link HERE) but I will be sharing my thoughts on the second box I received and some added information I get to learn about this service!

SaladBox for the month of October

Touch.Try.Feel

I believe some of you who have registered for the service will get a similar box as this one I'm featuring today.  I actually asked their customer service if everyone gets the same products on each box but I was told that the box may vary depending on the beauty profile of each subscriber!  That for me is a huge PRO as I prefer personalized boxes rather than random products chucked inside the box!

Let me show you the contents of my SaladBox

• 3pcs travel size Virginia Olsen Minerals Eyeshadow  (Php150.00 each)
• 2 x full-size Sakura Hand Foam Sanitizer (Php90.00 each)
• 2pcs trial size Black Beauty Shampoo and Conditioner
• 1pc. travel size BC Fragrance Spiced Fig Tea Room Fragrance
• Full Size 50ml HotShop Pour Femme - Pink Touch scent (Php400.00)

The contents of the box totaled to Php1,030.00 not including the Black beauty and BC Fragrance sample sizes!  At first glance I wasn't as excited as my first box as I'm not a fan of foam-type hand sanitizer (as I prefer regular alcohol during travel).  As for sachet-type shampoos and conditioners, I could never tell how good a hair product is by using sachets!  So what excites me in this month's box is the Virginia Olsen Minerals Eye Shadow as I have never tried the brand and the shades I got was quite interesting!  The best part of this box?  The HotShop Pour Femme Scent in Pink Touch!  I gave it to my mom right away and she told me so many times how much she loved the scent and has been using it on a daily basis! 

Overall, the service is great as the first one!  I have some problems on the October box and emailed them right away and got answers within the day!

AMW Reviews: The SaladBox

Happy Hump Day AMW friends!

Have you been reading blogs from other countries like the US?  Malaysia?  Singapore?  Have you once asked yourself why they get these gorgeous beauty boxes delivered to their homes and wished we have the same?

*raises head up to the sky*  THANK YOU for answering my prayers!  Beauty Box subscription is finally here!  No need to drool on computer screen on other people's boxes as you can have your own delivered straight to your doorstep!

The SaladBox

SaladBox says ---

SaladBox is a monthly beauty and lifestyle subscription service.  Subscribers will receive a box with four to five beauty and lifestyle sample products that are specifically handpicked for them.  These samples come from up-and coming brands and timeless classics.

Pros

• There are 5 plans to choose from in which some of the plan helps save you more money!
• I was expecting a huge box with tiny contents, I'm glad the company helps save the environment with a box that is compact in size.
• You get to try different brands without spending too much.  
• Gift vouchers are also available to help save you money for your next "full sized" purchase.

Cons

• You may end up getting a box of products you're not interested in.
• If you are the type who's iffy with knowing where exactly your money goes, the surprise may be stressful for you!

Overall

This is the best way to sample products.  Some months may be worth the Php500.00 paid while other months may not!  Think of it as gambling! :P  Legal gambling!

• Visit www.saladbox.com.ph  and check which My SaladBox Plans suits you.
• If you are unsure on which plan to choose, I strongly suggest to start on Monthly Recurring and unsubscribe anytime you feel the service is not for you.
• Of course, if you want to save more, subscribe for 6 months or 1 year plan and if the products you received aren't for you, feel free to save them and give them as gifts for friends and family! 
• Save the box and the tissue inside the box for future use.  I strongly suggest to help save the environment!

Will I repurchase?

If I'm not a beauty blogger who receives sample products every now and then, I wouldn't mind trying the 6 months subscription.

To whom do I recommend this to?
You who loves trying out testers and are adventurous to try different products and brands.

So far, the first SaladBox goes beyond the amount of Php500.00.  The box is a lovely surprise for me as the only brand that I know of before receiving the box is BC Fragrance.  I'm glad the first box that arrived to my doorstep is dedicated to Filipino Pride!

The scent goes to my sister, the pillow mist goes to my mom, the Bamboo Charcoal soap is for Mr. AMW and the Argan Cheek Lip Stick is for me!
