Special Edition Totally Tangled Ginger

I got totally tangled by The Body Shop's Special Edition Ginger Shower Gel and Body Yogurt.

Taking a shower feels much more relaxing and fun - for a busy mom like me!

This special edition Ginger products has a right "zingy" fragrance that felt a bit weird (for me) on first sniff but upon using them constantly, I am actually looking forward to it!

The Shower Gel, like any other shower gels from The Body Shop lathers up pretty quickly which I like and I like to use it with my favorite loofah and do a circular massaging motion.  The product is enriched with ginger root extract from India and Community Trade organic cane sugar from Paraguay.

And ONLY The Body Shop body yogurt gets into my shower.  It is the ONLY product I apply IMMEDIATELY after shower.

This is a lightweight gel-cream that gets absorbed into skin instantly with a nice cool sensation.  I love it that I sleep with good skin and wake up with the same sensation!  The Body yogurt provides moisture for up to 48 hours and I believe them!

Do you like ginger scented body products?
Would you give this a sniff?

Thank You Aveeno for Coming into Our Lives!

BIG TRUTH - Moms don't always have the luxury of time even when it comes to self-care.
I started going back to salon, having massages, etc... recently, and mind you, it takes the whole Barangay to help make that happen!  Well, I only need Mr. AMW and he was super nice to always give me "me time" especially on weekends!  Because we need that!  After 6 years of being a hands on mom, I come to a point of, "Hey, what's happening to me?  Let's do something about it!"

Fellow mommies, you don't need to go out for self-care, with just the right brand/products, you can do self-care at the comfort of your home!  My special me time is after dinner when I take a shower and do my skincare regimen before my son goes back to the room!  That said, I want to make sure to apply something really safe not only for me but for kids because we do all sorts of "Octopus hugs" before he goes to sleep!

Thankfully, (good news for all mommies!)  The Aveeno Body Skin Relief Range is finally here!  This range consists of body wash and lotion formulated with Prebiotic Oats.  The Triple Oat Complex is enriched with Colloidal Oat that locks in moisture for 24 hours, I can attest to that as I wake up with super soft and hydrated skin!

Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash is priced Php520.00 for 354ml, Php695.00 for 532ml
Aveeno Skin Relief Lotion is priced Php740.00 for 354ml
Aveeno Baby Cleansing Therapy Moisturizing Wash is priced at Php525.00 for 236ml
Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisture cream is priced Php660.00 for 227g

Aside from that, they also have the Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief range.  To be honest, the Pediatrican was telling us how Kyle suffers from really dry skin but we can't seem to put anything on him since his skin is very sensitive.  So I am looking forward to use Soothing Relief Moisture Cream on his arms and legs and bum!  After constant research, I've read that these are soap-free, hypo-allergenic, paraben-free, phthalate -free and fragrance-free so mommies, we can breathe and relax!  And hey, I used this when I was still breastfeeding Kyle!

The brand is backed up with 65 years of skin expertise so mommies, do your research too and give this brand a try!

Have you tried Aveeno and Aveeno Baby?

What are your thoughts mommies and non-mommies?

Something New: Good Virtues Co.

When I met up with my Sampleroom Family last year for Thanksgiving Party, I always ended up feeling joyours and happy not because it was the season but because for the fact that I am around gorgeous women who share the love for beauty like I do.

We chat and catch up about our personal lives at the same time, share new beauty finds!  From Japanese Rice Cooker to kitchen scrub that really works *laughs*  we went back to being a Beauty Blogger when we were each given a Good Virtues Co. set to try.

Let's go beyond how cute their packaging are, the brand is from Malaysia and all the products are free from mineral oil, SLES, ALES, parabens, synthetic colourants and are NOT tested on animals!

That is the focus of Good Virtues Co. --- feel and look beautiful without sacrificing our values.

The brand has full product range from hair care to skincare, I got 4 products to try and I took a leap on their shampoo and conditioner first.

Spotted at Beauty Bar: BARE Hair Care and Body Care Range

So how many among you are like me?  Walking around aisles after aisles at the Beauty Bar soothes your stressed and tired senses?  *sigh*

That's ME!

Unlike skincare, I am quite adventurous when it comes to hair and body care products!  So look what I found!

BARE HAIR CARE RANGE
There are a total of 7 variants of shampoos and conditioners to help target various hair issues.  I got the BARE Horsetail Shampoo which is for scalp repair and fragile hair!  While the conditioner variant I got is Grapefruit which is targeted for Dull Hair.

You can actually pick similar variants for both shampoos and conditioners but at times, it is okay to mix and match.

Bare Horsetail Shampoo
Php550.00
I recently have issues with my scalp.  It gets dry and itchy on certain areas.  Must be the combination of stress and environmental factors.  I personally think I can't use this alone (as to any shampoo brands) as I am used to following up with a conditioning treatment.  The scent reminds me so much of a fresh grass, so refreshing!
