PAC Cosmetics (Professional Artist Cosmetics)
Everytime I go the mall to swatch this, I always thought this is a good quality local brand. I was wrong. I learned from the SA that PAC is French brand manufactured in Indonesia. (correct me if I am wrong please) I haven't heard much about Indonesian cosmetics so even if I liked the pigmentation, I let it go and went home and do my own research about this product first. I want to check out reviews on the quality, of course, I don't see much but their WEBSITE (Really wonderful website but not in English)
When I went to the mall again, a force pulled me towards a lovely bluish green colored single e/s. The pearly color was named PO1, I swatched it on my hand, I applied it on my lids, I fell in love! I bought the refill as I have a palette in mind that I can home this to!
Here's how the refill looks like
** for Php299.00 (approx $6.50)
See just how beautiful this color is?
Let's go to the real deal...the review.

--- Do you understand? I don't! ! But thanks to the lovely Inan from Shizzinizzle for translating this for me!
Pressed Eyeshadow has 2 Formulas:

Pros
Will I repurchase?
Yes!!! This color that I bought is as good as Make-up Forever (MUFE). But of course, this is just one color that I've tried, I haven't tested on the other colors yet.
Overall?
One e/s has changed my mind. Good quality make-up doesn't really have to be super expensive. Because of this single product that I bought from them, I am very interested to try on the quality of their other product lines.
I will try to create a look with this e/s soon!
How'd you like the color?
Too wild for you?
Pros
- Affordable
- They have refills!!!
- Very pigmented
- Stays the whole day, no creasing (well I've only tested to myself).
- Size is bigger than MAC refills
- few color choices (a lot of colors on the website are not available here in our country.
- not all the colors have their equivalent refills as seen in their site
- if you are using the pearly eyeshadow, it looks great when applied with your fingers or a brush that has "packed" bristles
- wear this alone! Vavavoom look in an instant!

Oh wow, it looks super pigmented! I've never heard of/seen PAC but it looks promising.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of PAC either but the color payoff is gorgeous!! Lovin' it.
ReplyDeleteHey Nikki, I've seen these brand @ the mall back in Indo LOL I never tried them tho...WOW! not bad huh?
ReplyDeletewell since I'm Indonesian, I think I can help you with the translation.
Pressed Eyeshadow has 2 Formulas:
Pearly Eyeshadow gives shimmery finish dan Matte Eyeshadow with the matte finish *I went 'DOH!'on this one lol*. With waterproof formula for a long-lasting power.
I have this color too plus the dupe of MAC Sushi Flower. It just lasts FOREVER! I put mine in a 20 slot Elianto palette. ;)
ReplyDeleteohh ive not heard of this brand but it looks very pigmented and pretty :)
ReplyDeleteWoW I love it love it! They are so pigmented. So it's bigger than MAC, it won't fit their palette right ? I would love to try these eyeshadow. Very pretty. How many colors do they have ?
ReplyDeleteI see it around our pharmacies but the fact that its so similarly named to MAC and packaging etc bugs me. Still, the Martha Tilaar brand is really famous in Indonesia for their herbal concoctions and spa products. Thanks for the enlightenment!
ReplyDeletecan't wait to see your look with this e/s! this blue is..so..bold.
ReplyDeletehey nikki! so surprised this PAC goes all the way to PI! it looks really pigmented, love the colour you chose.
ReplyDeleteand you said it fitted to your elianto palette? woww.. i think i can jz stock up on this one. the colour payoff is really really much better than elianto pan e/s
I love it! But then again, I love any eyeshadow in this color. Do a look soon!
ReplyDeleteThat bright blue is gorgeous! I hope there is a way to get it here!

I gotta tell I sorely wanted to get the purple e/s (in loose form) of this brand but it was 500+php. That didn't stop me from visiting the counter every time I'd hit the mall. :)
ReplyDeleteLiz, it is promising!!!! I always thought it just looks great on counters but when I swatch them, they really are quite good!
ReplyDeleteB, really? I am surprised that they have a website, I think they are mostly available for make-up shows/trade shows in other countries. Not sure though
Nanzy, thanks dear for the translation :) I changed my post!
Phoebe!! Oh my goodness, I did swatched that on my hand and I told myself it looks like Sushi Flower that's why I didn't buy it!!!! Darn, I should just have bought this instead of sushi flower! hehehe
NicNic, now you've read about it! :D
Nabi sis, no you can't fit this on MAC palette, it's the exact same size as the ULTA single e/s. They have mostly neutrals and pinks, this is the ONLY wild color I found except those Powdered form e/s!
Parisb, really? For me, when I first saw this, I thought they were trying to DUPE MUFE as it is the same size and most colors MUFE also have. But yeah, if it works, it works! I have to check out other colors! You're very much welcomed by the way!
Prettybeautiful, I will definitely share the look with this! I've used this for 4x now! lol
Maria, you are correct! the pigmentation is better than Elianto..but Elianto palettes are really good!!!
Toma, yes dear, I will do a look with this SOON!!!!
XoXo Jaime, thanks for the contest reminder! :)
Vi Anne, the loose form e/s are on sale! Not that big but I think 10-20% off!!!! Check it out and who knows? You'll be able to get the purple e/s cheaper! But *gasp* I didn't know it was Php500!
It's so blue!!! I love it... lol~ I love blue in every way possible. I just wish I could wear it on my eyes. :)
ReplyDeletewowww that color is beautiful! Reminds me of MAC Parrot, except even MORE pigmented! I wish they had this brand in the U.S. :(
ReplyDeleteAlyssa, I am sure blue looks great on you!!! I myself cannot wear blues that are "light" as it'll turn gray on me! LOL But I still use them! LOL
ReplyDeleteAudrie, I guess they are sold in Asia. Well who knows? It'll be coming to the shores of the WEST soon! :) I never have MAC parrot, so thanks, at least I have something "close" to MAC parrot :D
This is a beautiful shade of blue. I love it. I love blue eyeshadow...cuz I look best in them. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your super sweet comment. I changed my mind and give you the crown willingly and whole heartedly...so please take it cause you are being super upper nice to me! *hmmm....but don't let me know that you were just saying it to trick my innocent self or else!!!!!!** errr
Cinthia! GIrl !I am super honest when I said that, I could be crazy but Tricky is not part of my personality! LOL Nah..we can just share!!! I do believe that sharing brings LOVE in this world! *winks*
ReplyDeletewow! it ceratinly looks pigmented sis. love it! :) i'll make sure to give it another look next week.... especially if it really has great staying power. :)

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this brand but it looks very pigmented. That color is so pretty, too.
ReplyDeleteHi YDA, you can purchase PAC cosmetics at all SM department stores under Health and Beauty area. Anywhere that you see Maybelline, L'oreal Revlon, look closely and you'll find PAC. Landmark also carries it! :) Goodluck and bili na!
ReplyDeleteoh my, thanks sis!!! i gotta go find the nearest store... thanks again!
ReplyDeletelove the color when you swatched it, so pretty :D
ReplyDeleteYda, major shopping coming up for you? hehehe
ReplyDeleteMieMieMie, I'm glad you liked the color, it looks too bright for me when i swatched it, but when applied, you can apply it lightly so it's great !!!
Great review, now you are making me lemm for it, im trying to be good lol
ReplyDeleteSorry Bliss, but I think its good that you're lemming for a product that isn't available there? hehehe And just to help you... "You're still on NO buy!" hehehe
ReplyDeletehow much are these po? i'll have to ask my mum to buy and send it to me.
ReplyDeleteisn't it funny PAC is almost same with MAC hehe... anyway, i will see if i will like this on the counter... i have to rid of my snob mentality towards unpopular makeup brands lol. but i love the color, reminds me of MAC Parrot but that one is a little lighter and bluer... btw, lovely nails!
ReplyDeleteeekai, i left you a message on your blog, sorry just read your message now.
ReplyDeleteMhean, now that you mentioned it..i was like "oo nga ano? " hahaha PAC definitely sounds like MAC! Gosh!!!! but it's a lovely color and good pigmentation, try it on dear!!! you pa? You will pull off this look, so YOU :D
Too bad I just read this today.
ReplyDeleteWent to visit the PAC counter at Landmark Trinoma and they were having a sale - just php199 per pan of e/s. I was thinking of buying art deco e/s that's why I didn't consider buying PAC. Had I known...
Oh well, maybe it will still be on sale when I go back to the mall next week.
:-) CG
CG, well, you can always buy it pa! hehehe and you know what? Better buy as much as you can as Only Landmark can give out Php199 for e/s!!! Other malls don't have sales like that!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's really pretty! It reminds me a lot of MAC Parrot e/s.
ReplyDeleteEmilee, i was told this looks a lot like MAC parrot, thank goodness, coz at least I've got the dupe! I don't have the original MAC parrot :)
ReplyDeletewow! i can't believe that PAC is already in Manila. last time i went home, i didn't check our make up stores. i'm in indo. yeah most reviews are in bahasa so i try to understand as much as i can. hehe! :) i'm happy that i read a good review from a Filipino, it gave me more confidence to buy their e/s palette. i have their stackable pigments and loose powders. it's good! :D Martha Tilaar is a reputable brand here in Indo. :) they got a make up school too. Make up from Indo is usually good in quality. Revlon, Olay, and Loreal produces some of their products here.
ReplyDeletebtw, in indo they pronounce it as "peck".. hahaha! for some reason, one SA didn't understand me when i said i was looking for PAC and suddenly she realized by saying "ah.. peck" haha!
ReplyDeleteLOL. PAC!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know they were selling these outside Indonesia, that's cool! haha =D
Tweeshaaa, that is funny about the "peck" pronunciation, I'm sure if I say that, no one would understand me here :P
ReplyDeleteFifi, I know! It sounds like a famous brand there in Indonesia! :) I'm glad to be able to try these products, they are really good :D

Hi, I'm Indonesian. PAC is Professional Artist Cosmetic. One of Indonesia local high end cosmetics.Their product are good in quality and so pigmented. Happy to knowing that you guys love my country's product :)
ReplyDeletePAC is known in Indonesia for providing good quality for reasonable prices. In terms of locally made cosmetics, they are considered to be one of the better quality ones. Their loose fine glitter is comparable to MUFE's diamond powder. I almost kicked myself when I saw this product. I could have saved a ton of $$$! Their eye shadows are really pigmented and their loose powder eyeshadows are beautifully iridescent. Definitely a great line for those who love to experiment with color and bolder textures. I am really glad that Filipinos get to experience the brand.
ReplyDeleteone the PAC product that is famous is theeyeliner. It once become hot topic in local forum. I don't know if it's sold in your country though.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous Yes, I do love the said products and I'm glad to know more details about the brand
ReplyDelete@bettyboopjkt I haven't seen much of the product range recently though, I hope they bring in more!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous I don't think we have it here :) thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteFinally! A review on PAC cosmetics, I have been looking for this for a while.. I tried PAC liquid foundation in color C02, and oh how I looooovvvveee it! It dries into a smooth velvety feel and leaves my skin with a powdery finish. Not sticky, not heavy and stays long too but kinda pricey for me :( but I love that it has spatula inside because pump foundations does not pull out the very last product when the bottle is almost empty
ReplyDeleteWell let me correct it. Actually, PAC (Professional Artist Cosmetic by Martha Tilaar) was created in August 1997 as the pioneer of professional Asian make-up. PAC’s creation was envisioned by Dr. Martha Tilaar (Indonesian founder & chairwoman of Martha Tilaar Group) to fulfill the needs of professional make-up artists, starting from stage make-up to bridal and high fashion. So, it's an Indonesian brand, not a French brand...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love the products too, especially the eyeliners & the lipglosses... ^_^
