Hello People of the World! :)
I spent my weekend with my nails! On Saturday I went to a salon for my manicure and pedicure and went out with bare nails. The lady was too funny, she kept on asking who did my nails and how long I had it on. I said: "A week!" and she demanded: "Why do you want to remove them?" LOL I got so embarrassed because the other clients are looking at me already thinking that I'm a high maintenance whore who wants to change my nail polish weekly.
Well...it's true!
I love changing it weekly not because I want to look pretty, it's because I honest-to-goodness love doing nail art! I may not be great with it but hey! It's pure love and passion we're talking about! LOL
As seen in my previous post, I've bought a couple of new polishes but nothing inspired me to use them. I searched through my collection and found this polish I have and never used :) It's PERFECT for Spring and Summer! :) Hope you like it!
Step 1:
Apply 2 coats of lime green polish. I use Maybelline's Colorama in Neon green . Let dry.
Step 2:
Using my yellow nail art pen, apply a line over the tip of your nails. French Tip version.
Step 3:
Using any clear polish, apply it over the french tip Lime-yellow nails...
While wet, drop in dots for petals. Use any color you want. This is the fun part! Combining different colors and making it work :)
Step 4:
Use needle to drag the dots. If you're a reader of my nail art tutorial, you know why I do this step :)
Step 5:
Add some extra "oomph" on the nail art :)
Step 6:
I like glittery nails, so I apply Elianto's Glitter polish over the nails.. Top with a top coat again.
This could be my version of St. Patrick Day Nails too!
But I find this more on a spring look! :)
I hope you like it!
Stay Happy!

ReplyDeleteSo CUTE! You are so coordinated...I would have to go to a salon to have that done!
ReplyDeleteIs it OK to wear bright nail art at work? My colleagues and clients would have a heart attack, but that's just because they're all IT nerds and accountants!
Thanks Jojoba :)
