AMW Reviews: Blinc Kiss Me Mascara

Great morning everyone!  I am on the roll with reviews!  And I'm glad it's another mascara review and this time, it's not the regular mascara we all knew and loved!  A brand called Blinc came out with a mascara that says... "Stop Painting Your Lashes...Tube Them!"

Before I go further with the review, I want to clarify that I own the sample size, I'd rather try it first before purchasing a full size to make sure I'll love the product!  A sample size would last me approximately 10-14 days of usage!  I've used this for more than a week and I'm still using this to date!

A close up shot on the sample sized wand

Blinc Kiss Me Mascara says ---

Kiss Me Mascara is the original mascara invented to form tiny water-resistant “tubes” around your lashes rather than painting them like conventional mascaras. Once applied, the tubes bind to your lashes and cannot run, smudge, clump, or flake, even if you cry or rub your eyes.

Kiss Me Mascara will add both volume and length to give you a radiant natural look that lasts all day. Only when you are ready for removal, the tubes will effortlessly slide off your lashes into your hand without the use of a harsh makeup remover.

All it takes is the combination of lots of warm water and gentle pressure, from your fingertips, a washcloth or water pressure (i.e. shower) and the tubes will slide off your lashes effortlessly. Upon removal you will actually see the tiny tubes in your hand!

Kiss Me Mascara has been clinically tested to be non-irritating making it ideal for sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers, and active people in search of a mascara whose look, hold and ease of removal is without compromise.

Available in: Black, Dark Brown, Purple

AMW says ---

  • no flaking
  • lengthens
  • curls held quite well
  • lasts the whole day without smudging or even falling remnants of mascara
  • perfect for sensitive eyes because the mascara flakes doesn't get into the eyes
  • no raccoon eyes
  • no clumping
  • does not make the lashes "crunchy" as compared to regular mascaras
  • super easy to remove
  • easy to apply
  • dries off easily upon application
  • does not irritate my eye especially when I remove it at night as I only use warm water with slight pressure, no residue left
  • stays on oily lids and even on our hot weather
  • if you are looking for extreme and exaggerating volume, this isn't the one
  • a bit pricey to others who aren't used to spending a lot on mascaras (but there's good news, locally, Beauty & Minerals sells sample size)
For cry babies out there, for you...who has the oiliest of all oily lids, the "I love to rub my itchy eyes" kind of girl and of course, to all of us who lives in a hot, humid weather, we finally got an answer to our mascara problems!

If you love to double the length or even triple the length of your lashes that can still look natural, this is the perfect one!  Though the volume side is not as much as compared to other mascaras, it's still a "winner" because of it's ultimate smudge-free, budge-proof properties!

  • curl your lashes prior to mascara application
  • never pump your mascara to keep the shelf life longer
  • no need to wait for mascara to set, just keep on applying til your desired length and volume
  • apply like regular mascara making sure to "cover all areas", not to forget the lash corners
  • using damp soft cloth, close your eyes and gently remove the mascara with downward strokes, I prefer doing this than my fingers as I may poke my eyes or accidentally pull out my original lashes
  • don't want to spend a lot?  Purchase the sample size first and see if you like the product or not!
  • my personal choice to "volumize" my lashes, I apply a regular volumizing mascara first then I tube it with Blinc Mascara, then comb quickly with a lash comb to prevent clumps, it works!
  • if you are faint-hearted, please be warned that the "tube mascara" comes off like your own lashes!  Do not panic and think that you're losing  your original lashes! *Breathe in...breathe out* calm down...

Will I repurchase?
I am not a fan of purchasing expensive mascaras, but looks like this is an exception to my own rule.

Where to purchase and how much?
Locally, at Beauty & Minerals site
full size for Php1,350 (approx $29.34)
sample size for Php350.00 (approx $7.60)
Special discount for 2 or more product Php1,300 (approx $28.26) per piece.

And here's a photo to show how it comes off easily

Have you tried Blinc mascara or any "tube" mascara?  What's your experiences?
I'd love to hear from you!

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!
Happy Friday!

  1. This is my favourite mascara! I love how easy it is to remove :) Though I haven't repurchased it in a while because I am trying to finish the other sample mascaras I have. You probably don't even have to purchase the full size imo...the sample tube would probably last you 3 months or more.

  2. Looks very natural! Seems like it's so great product!

  3. never heard of this brand before, but it sure comes off like magic!!! i think it is safer to remove it in front of that we can check it is really our lashes, or the mascara!

  4. i've tried this and it's a great product, but i can't bring myself to buy it because of the price :( plus i don't use mascara everyday so i really can't make the most out of it.

  5. i've always been curious about those mascara that comes out as tubes.
i wanna try kiss me by heroine make but im still considering if i should spend that amount of money since im a student and mascaras are supposed to be throwned away after 3 months

  6. this is my first time hearing abt the tube mascara. I like the concept a lot. N I'm willing to try it :)
Thanks for the review nikki, where does this brand come from?

  7. Loreal's double extend beauty lash tubes mascara works very well. Its only like $ 8 US. Just don't use too much or it will clump.

  8. it really looks natural! haven't tried tube mascaras coz its pricey hehe

  9. It's the first time I heard of "tubing" lashes, looks promising! But you're right, price is a bit too much for a mascara. =/

Happy Weekend, Nikki! Tara told me you'll be meeting later at the Spa event? Too bad I'm not dressed, I'd love to meet you & Shen in person. =D Next time!

  10. I've always been really curious about tube mascara!!!! I really want to give it a go now. Your reviews are sooooo GREAT!! :)

  11. seems just like the becca mascara. these mascaras don't work for me because, as you mentioned, it doesn't do anything for drama... i'm more for the false-lashes-look.

how do you think this would do hours under the heat?

  12. I like the concept of this mascara, it's really interesting. Thanks for the review, it looks really natural and even though I like the results I prefer mascaras that give more volume so I don't think I could bring myself to buy it.

  13. Just to clarify, for the person who said they are interested in trying KissMe...blinc is the maker of KissMe Mascara, but the name was recently changed to blinc Mascara. Even if you go into some Sephora's, they still call it Kiss Me.

  14. a cheaper alternative is the IMJU fiberwig! they look and work the same, same natural effect~

    great review, btw!

  15. ' * : . b | u 3 . : * ', wow it's nice to know this is your fave! and thanks for letting me know that the sample size will last longer, I plan to throw it away after a bit over 2 weeks, I'll try to let it last longer :)

Anastacia, thanks! It is indeed a natural looking product!

Xin, yes, I like how I remove it at night and no more smudges left! So easy!

  16. Crystal, you know what? same with you, I hate purchasing mascaras over Php500, but seriously, I think I'll wait for sale or something as I will definitely repurchase!

LyNn, I hope you can score some sample sizes or pay cheaper for samples to give it a try first!

Hana, I can't seem to understand the concept of tube mascara but now, I do, and it does lengthen my lashes!!

  17. Anonymous, thanks for the reco

Khymm, it's worth it though especially on hot weather here! And for oily lids ladies out there

Dang, awww, sana you joined! Hayaan mo, if there's next time, no matter what you're wearing, you better join ha? I'd love to meet you!

  18. Sarah, thanks dear, glad this review is helpful!

Shallow, Ooohh Didn't know Becca has this too, better check them out!!! This mascara stays the WHOLE DAY until you've decided to remove this. I've been in and out with this mascara and no smudges, my eyeliner did though hahaha!

  19. Gio, I'd love this even more and consider this HG if it gives the volume we all love!

    Danzie, thanks for the clarification!

Denise, thanks too for the reco! :)

  20. I just stop using this and switch to Revitalash mascara so far its doing good!
