AMW Reviews: Perfection by Cream Silk Full-Bodied Straight Detangling Spray

Happy Friday everyone!  How's the "super hot" and "humid" week treating you?  I hope you hydrate yourself by drinking loads of water and eat fruits! :)

My hair has been going crazy for the past months and I'm actually thinking of doing another Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment which I've done almost 2 years ago and I loved the effect!  I planned to do it after my Tokyo trip but I got busy --- busy getting sick, busy getting sad that my dearest dog passed away, busy gaining back my strength so going for a Keratin Treatment had to wait!

Then I got an invite to try out Perfection by Cream Silk at The Spa!  I dragged myself to the event because I needed the pampering session so much!

As shared on my report (read article HERE),  the Cream Silk team takes pride in sharing the new, premium line that has the added KERATIN and this superior technology can get absorbed into our hair better than regular conditioning treatment!

I have to admit, I did the "OWSSS????" (Not believing).  It was embarrassing but I can't help myself !  *laughs*  Sarah Lim of Cream Silk laughed and told me to try it instead.  She was that confident! :)

Since I am currently still finishing up my daily conditioner and hair treatment, I started with the Detangling Spray and after just a few usage, I'm biting my tongue!  You'll know why after reading my review.

AMW says ---
Pros
  • Comes in spray "stopper" to prevent accidental sprays.

  •  What more can I say? I love spray type hair treatment products as I don't need to get my hands dirty!  *laughs*
  • Smells divine!
  • Product does not weigh down hair.
  • Less tangles.
  • Hair feels soft and smooth.
  • Lesser frizz.
  • Hair does appear healthier looking.
  • Hair has a nice shine.  (not too much)
  • Inexpensive!
Cons
  • None!
Overall
I haven't tried the Anti-Hair Fall variant but the Full-Bodied Straight definitely lives up to its name!  It gives my hair the body I want at the same time the "straight-feel" due to its power to seal in moisture on each hair strand making it less frizzy.

Tips
  • Apply product before applying heat on hair to protect hair from further damage.
  • I prefer to always put back the "stopper" after every use.
  • Spritz 10-15cm away from hair.
  • I like spritzing on the crown of my hair first then lift each layer and apply the middle portion.
  • Though you can spritz as often as you like, spritzing before blow-drying and styling and I seal it with hair serum.
Will I repurchase?
Yes!

To whom do I recommend this to?

For YOU who likes to have lesser frizz, soft and easy to comb hair.  Anyone who enjoys spray type hair treatment.

Where to purchase and how much?
Perfection by Cream Silk is available at leading supermarkets nationwide for Php300.00 (approx $6.97)

I'm glad I just incorporated this ONE new product on my current hair care regimen so I can easily spot the advantages and disadvantages of this product!  Seldom will you find me sing complete praises on a hair treatment product and I'm doing it today!  I even got complimented on how "healthy" my hair looks *knocks on wood* by Angela when we met in an event!

I can't wait to try out the rest of the Perfection line!
Have you tried this?  Do you love it as much as I do?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

  2. Hi Nikki. I have short rebonded hair that tends to go flat lately ESP when I don't dry it well while brushing. Do you think this hair care line could help me get a healthy looking hair and not stick straight flatness? :)

    1. I don't think you'll go ahead with the whole line, probably start with the spray (this one on my blog) and spritz sparingly! Since this product controls the frizz, it "may" seem to make the hair straighter than usual but I have never encountered my hair looking limp and lifeless :D

  3. What about the cream silk frizz control leave on? Is it the same? Fly aways and frizzy hair are my problem too and I don't know what to use, the detangling spray or the leave on?

    1. The Leave on is more potent and if your hair is very frizzy, then i suggest you give that a try The spray is milder and lighter

  4. Are you planning to review the leave on too? I guess the hairspray is for me. I had a leave on from vitress and i think its too heavy for me 'cos I don't like the effect on my hair, so maybe milder's better.

    1. WILL! But definitely will take some time as I'm having an awesome time using the spray version! But the cream version is not heavy as compared to the OIL. it's light cream base and I strongly suggest to use from mid-shaft to the tip of your hair! I have used it 2-3 times only (as of today) and so far so good!
