Something New: Revlon Nail Lacquer

How's the rest of Friday afternoon treating you? Better?  I'm still coping up and finding ways to make my parents happy again!  I am on the lookout for baby Pomeranian to adopt so Char Char will have a companion to play with!  I know how hard it is to go through life (yes, even dog life) alone!  So wish me luck on my hunt okay?

I will be sharing to you a couple of the new Revlon Nail Lacquers I received!  This should be an unsung hero post as Revlon has been making great polish shades and quality are good but they aren't OUT THERE!  So to help share the love for good, quality polishes, I will be specifically writing this post for the brand!

A photo to show the quality of the polishes.  Top portion applied ONE coat, bottom applied with 2 coats.

ONE COAT

TWO COATS

Just like most polishes, they would chip if you do not use a good top coat!  To prevent nails from yellowing, please (PLEASE) invest on a good base coat!  That's the least we could do to protect our nails!

My top 3 favorite shades are Classy, Fearless and Sassy!

Classy is perfect for Brides while Fearless could look like typical bright red polish but I love the fact that it has a nice orange base to it, that's the reason why I used this polish for my recent Maneki Neko nails as this is the exact reddish orange shade that we all think could bring us good luck!  Sassy, need I say more, is such a unique Apple Green shade that I can't seem to find a dupe on my stash!  Mysterious looks like a deep platinum blue polish that's perfect for the summer!  Scandalous, in my opinion, is my least favorite shade among the bunch as I'm not a fan of irregularly shaped and chunky  glitters!  First, glitters are hard to remove and second, the one coat photo looks weird and uneven! hehehe  Don't shoot me!  I'm just sayin' ... :P

Revlon Nail Lacquers can be purchased at local Revlon counters for Php225.00 (approx $5.20).

What's your favorite shade?
Which one would you wear for the summer?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

    1. Yup, I agree, actually scandalous can be applied 2 coats and its all good! I'm just showing the effect of one coat of scandalous as compared to the other shades who are pigmented enough even in just one coat.

  7. Oh yes! Revlon is great. It's funny how I blogged about Revlon nail polish to day as well, and then I see this.

They are so true to color (in the bottle), and so inexpensive. So readily available too, unlike other polishes that I love... ... Even OPI is not convenient to go out and get in Singapore... =(

  9. I believe the purple glitter is actually Revlon's dupe for a Deborah Lippman polish. And it stains from what i remember (even with a good base coat) lol. loved it though!

    1. Ahhh Deborah Lippman, I own one glittery red polish given to me by my friend, it was SUPER GORGEOUS and the consistency of the glitters is just WONDERFUL , BUT!!! It was super difficult to remove!
