I'm Excited for Bobbi Brown's Here Comes The Bride

As you all know, I am a professional makeup artist and I love saying that over and over again! (Pagbigyan niyo na ako!)  One of my pride as a makeup artist is the way I do makeup for brides (in fairness, that rhymes!)

I believe all soon-to-be-brides have a certain glow no makeup can create!  But of course, after years of doing bridal makeup, I've come to realize that the right makeup and tools can aid in enhancing the natural beauty plus the natural "glow".

One of the many brands I love to use for Bridal Makeup is from Bobbi Brown!  Seriously, I don't know how many times I reached out for my Bobbi Brown Rich Caviar Eye Palette , too many times!  And I love how I can easily create various looks with these basic eyeshadow shades.

This year, Bobbi Brown came up with a collection made specifically for my favorite makeup look on my favorite Bridal Month!  Bobbi Brown's Here Comes the Bride (June 2013).

Anything that caught your attention from the said collection?   Well, I want them all!!!  Thankfully, included in this collection is a unique Luxe Sparkle Powder that's meant to enhance the skin, creating a brighter complexion with extra not-so-obvious sparkles!

Here's the thing, I never finish bridal makeup on the face, I always end up doing the arms, shoulders and back as well!  Here are 2 top products I've been using for the past years....

Inexpensive Revlon Bare It All that really works!

And my most recent Benefit Bathina
(I can't wait for the liquid version!)

To be honest, the best body shimmer is quite difficult to find so I only have a couple inside my train case and I'm glad Bobbi Brown added my 3rd called Bobbi Brown Luxe Sparkle Powder (Veil), because the Power of THREE will set us free!  *winks*

Housed in a gorgeous metallic silver packaging...this look oh so chic!

Bobbi Brown Luxe Sparkle Powder
Php3,200 (approx $76.00)

At first glance, I see silver dusts!  It's scary to use on weddings with flash photography but wait!  You have to scroll down to see why this goes straight to my trustee Zuca Train Case.

"Like a shimmering veil of all-over luminescence, Bobbi created this ultra-sheer skin enhancer for a finishing touch of barely-there sparkle (that never looks overdone). Can be used simply as a highlighter for eyes and cheeks, or sweep over the neck and d├ęcolletage to cast a soft, candlelit glow. The effect is so radiant you're destined to reach for this mirrored compact long after you walk down the aisle."  --- Bobbi Brown

At first glance, I thought I'll be getting chunks of sparkle but I'm wrong, this comes in smooth and velvety with a nice shimmery finish.

Upon blending, you get that really nice, healthy glow and people can't tell where it's from!  I love it that it's long lasting too!  I applied it all over my arm and it stayed until the end of the day!

Now that I'm back after giving birth, I'm looking forward to use this on my next bride!  Yes, you'll be the first one to use this..well..ahem..I mean..second!  You can't blame me for testing this out first!  Clients deserve the best!

    1. same here, the eyeshadow palette is lovely to own! even for personal use no!

  2. The Luxe palette and sparkle powder looks amaaazing ♥ I'm curious, how big is the sparkle powder?

    1. the sparkle powder is the same size as "The Balm" blush (if you're familiar with that size). If not, hm..let's say the size of MAC Studio Fix Face powder but make it square :D

  3. The Sparkle Powder looks very pretty. I love the glow it gives to the skin.
