I love the tag line of Avon especially with the arrival of Avon's lastest make-up collection which helps women across the globe find the true colors that make them shine!

Last Thursday, I was lucky enough to be part of the media invited at Mindanao ballroom of the Sofitel Manila.  The event was hosted by none other than Avon's Brand Ambassadress --- Gorgeous Anne Curtis Smith!

 That same night, the collection was unveiled namely --- Ultra Color Lipstick, Ultra Glazewear LIp Gloss and True Color Eyeshadow Quad.

Bob Briddon, Avon SVP and President for Asia Pacific and Philippines did the welcoming remarks wishing everyone GOOD MORNING the Avon way!  

On stage, Anne interviewed Avon Global Celebrity Make-up Artist Lauren Andersen and Avon New Product Innovation Director Ms. Lisa Lamberty.  Both flew in from New York to help launch the new collection.  

One of the many things discussed that got me happy is how Avon listen to real women.  What consumers need and they put everything back to the lab to create products that suits our needs and wants.  Lisa explained Avon's True Color Technology which boasts vivid colors that stay true to what you see on packaging --- don't we all want that?

The most exciting part of the event for a beauty blogger, is a live smoky eye makeup demonstration!  

Lauren did a simple smoky eye makeup using a damp brush for a more vibrant and dramatic effect.  

Congratulations Avon for the successful event.  And just so you know, Avon celebrates 35 years of making lives more beautiful!  Thanks to the company's commitment not only to prettify women but they join in important causes for women like Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer and Speak Out Against Domestic Violence campaigns.

After the event, we get the chance to talk to Lauren Andersen.  Lauren is a make-up artist of the stars and have done makeup for Jessica Alba shared to us her MUST have Avon product, the Ultra Color Lipstick!  She actually wore the shade Hibiscus in this photo.

We also got the chance to have an informal conversation with Lisa Lamberty.  Lisa is the lucky woman who gets to play with cosmetics for work!  Did you know that the lipstick she's wearing is actually a lipstick shade for next year?
