AMW Reviews: ZA Total Hydration BB Cream White SPF50+ PA+++

Are you still on the search for the best BB Cream for you?  I know some may have moved to CC creams or soon DD creams (I can't believe they will be coming with that one!  Still sounded like a bra size to me hehehe).  But I am still in love in trying out different BB Creams, never fail to make me smile as I remember those days I am spending most of my free time in front of the computer online shopping for Korean BB Creams!  Look what a couple of years can do!  Most BB creams we long for are locally available! 

One of them is the ZA Total Hydration BB Cream UV White!  No need to travel to Hong Kong for our most loved ZA products!

Comes in 2 shades: The product on review is the brightening version and the pink tube (Total Hydration BB Cream) is a bit darker.

Pros

• Comes in an easy-to-tote-everywhere tube.
• A little goes a long way.
• Gives light to medium coverage.
• After application, the skin looks brighter and healthier in an instant.
• Users with normal/dry skin may wear this alone.
• Long-lasting (referring to normal and dry skin).
• Works for my sensitive skin.
• None of that floral scent.
• Comes with high SPF and PA level.  Seldom can you find that in a BB Cream.

Cons

• ZA Total Hydration BB Cream White works only for girls with light to medium skin tone.  Medium dark to darker skin tone may find this too light on them.
• Oily skin individuals may need to blot-off excess oil midday or retouch.
• Due to its high SPF content, may create white cast on direct flash photography.  (Read tips on how to deal with this)

Neutral

• The whitening effect won't be seen until you finish up a tube or 2 plus daily use.  My sister swore by this and told me the brightening effect is there but right after she finishes 2 tubes.  (Results vary on each individual)

Overall
Smooth, easy-to-apply BB Cream that gives instant hydration and brightening effect.

Tips

• BB creams are used at the last step of your skincare regimen.
• Best used with clean fingers and gently massage all over face.
• Use tapping motion on areas that needed coverage. (Ex. Under eye circles, pimples, acne marks and sun spots).
• If your photos will be taken, try to use this BB cream sparingly or apply only on areas you want to "highlight". 
• If you can't live without this BB Cream and need to have your photos taken, use a bronzer or 2-3 shades darker powder foundation and apply all over face with the use of big fluffy powder brush.  
• Oily or combination normal/oily skinned individuals may need to bring oil-control blotting sheets with them or use an oil-control primer or setting powder to hold off oilies.

Will I repurchase?
Yes!  I love how it hydrates my skin and made my skin look bright all day.

To whom do I recommend this to?
Dry, normal, combination (dry/normal) skin.  Works for girls who have light to light medium skin tone.

Available at leading SM Dept Store, Watsons Outlets, Chimes etc for Php450.00 (approx $10.00).

Closer look on the easy-squeeze tube

AMW Application Style:
With the use of clean fingers, I start application at the center of my face where coverage is most needed and gently work my way outwards.  For better coverage, use a sponge or foundation brush.

Before and After Photo:

ZA Total Hydration BB Cream gives a smooth and natural finish 10 minutes after application.  It takes some time for the "white cast" to settle down and blend into my skin.  The BB cream gives a medium coverage to the redness around my cheeks and hid a bit of darkness on my under eye area.

I personally think the product gives a good amount of coverage (as you can see my left and right under eye circle).  The product gives an instant "brightening" effect and I actually enjoy going out with just the BB Cream and a red lipstick on a short trip outside!  I find myself applying this early on for the product to settle down as it is a tad bit light on me.
