Weekend Food Trip at: Choi Palace Seafood and Shark's Fin Restaurant

Happy Sunday AMW friends!
This is an old food post at Choi Palace Seafood and Shark's Fin Restaurant located at Eastwood Mall.  We were invited by Keith's Aunt as his cousin graduated Magna Cum Laude!  Congratulations Maine, we are so proud of you!

This is actually my second time dining at Choi Palace, I apologize in advise for not being able to type down all the food details as this was a treat from Keith's Aunt and Uncle, so it is rude to ask for the menu and check the prices and dish details :) I hope you understand! :) This Sunday, let's just enjoy the look of yummy food!

 House Special Roast Layer Pork
A must try!  I am not into "Lechon Kawali" but I found myself grabbing 2-3 pieces of these!

Suckling Pig with Mantou Bread
Another hit of the night!  Definitely a dish perfect for a night like this, a celebratory night!  The skin is crunchy and all you need to do is eat this together with the mantou bread on the side!  I love the extra seaweed on the side while the rest of the family enjoyed the slices of century egg (sorry, I'm not a fan)

A closer look on how beautiful this was :P

Mapo Tofu
One of the best Mapo Tofu served in a restaurant!  I enjoyed the fact that the tofu are sliced in just the right size, not too small nor too big, so I get to taste the texture of soft tofu and minced pork!  The spicy sauce is just right.  I will definitely order this again when I return!  One of the best dish of the night, it is a simple dish yet it gave me so much joy! LOL

Yang Chow Fried Rice
The texture of Choi Palace's Yang Chow Fried Rice is perfect, it's not dry nor wet, I would prefer it to have more shrimp, vegetables, and pork asado though :)

Seafood Hofan
Another Chinese dish favorite of mine!  Yes, I'm so into "carbs" nowadays! :P  The dish has good serving of seafood from shrimps and squid.

Beef Curry
I'm quite surprised to find a curry dish at a Chinese restaurant but this was a wonderful surprise!  This doesn't come with the usual coconut milk, more like the Japanese style curry.

Mushroom with Broccoli
Anything that has mushrooms and broccoli will always be a winner in my dictionary.  The sweet sauce goes right straight into the huge mushroom so you get the flavor on every bite.

Shrimps
Never miss to get your hands dirty on a shrimp dish!  I gave this a skip to prevent allergies but as always, this dish is best eaten by dipping this on a soy sauce with vinegar!

Overall, my second time at Choi Palace Seafood and Shark's Fin Restaurant is better as compared to the first.  The servers are all very friendly and helpful with the orders!
