Hey cleansing oil lovers!
There is a new cleansing oil in town and it is from The Body Shop! I guess this is Body Shop's first cleansing oil and it's housed in a very cute, clear bottle that looks so good on my sink! Aside from it looking aesthetically good, how good does it really work in removing makeup?

Okay, before you scroll down and read my review, let us just enjoy the look of TBS Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil against the product background (bagay no?) :P
The Body Shop says ---
This silky-soft cleanser will effortlessly remove make-up from the whole
face quickly and effectively, leaving skin feeling clean, refreshed and
clear of impurities. It’s the ultimate time-saver.
- Removes make-up
- Suitable for sensitive skin and contact lens wearers
- Removes waterproof make-up
- Leaves skin feeling clean and refreshed
Pros
- Packaging is cute and housed in a clear bottle so you know how much product is left.
- The Body Shop NEVER test on animals.
- Has a pleasant scent.
- Has a relaxing effect when you massage this all over your face. (Camomile effect)
- Does a good job stripping off makeup and skin feels smooth and hydrated after.
- Mild, does not sting my eye.
- Does not emulsify as much as other cleansing oils.
- The pump, it squirts off more than enough product needed.
- Hard to remove makeup like certain mascaras may not be easily removed.
- Price. The price isn't super expensive yet isn't cheap as there are many Korean brand cleansing oils that are less expensive.
One of the best smelling cleansing oil I've tried that is very gentle on skin, removes ALMOST all traces of makeup except really hard-headed waterproof eye makeup like mascaras and liners.
Tips
- Pour the product on different pump packaging. I did that and I'm happy!
- If you like wearing heavy eye makeup, remove it first with gentle eye makeup remover before you proceed with Cleansing Oil.
- Just like me, if you're not comfortable washing your face with just cleansing oil, follow up with your favorite face cleanser.
- Massage The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil on dry skin, add a bit of water to emulsify and massage gently. Wash off with water.
Yes.
