Something New: Happy Skin ZZ Cream and New Shut Up & Kiss Me Lippies!

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I'm one of the lucky bloggers who attended the intimate blogger gathering for Happy Skin.  What's the reason for such get-together?  New products of course!

As you all know, Happy Skin is around for just almost a year but they have been creating quite a buzz!  I see celebrities, fellow Beauty Bloggers, Media friends raving about their products and I totally understand why! 

And so far, the brand ain't stopping!  They are definitely here to stay and will continue to create skin-loving makeup products for users like us, who are constantly in search for makeup that does not only prettify on the outside but love our skin even on the inside!

One of their bestseller Happy Skin Second Skin (SS) Cream Silicone Free Foundation was sold over 7,500 tubes in a span of less than a year.  According to Jacque and Rissa, they received countless feedback that even women with the most sensitive and troubled skin are now able to use makeup because of this that even members of the Philippine Dermatological society recommend their SS Cream.  The founders are inspired to create a new double-letter cream which fights the number 1 skin problem of women: The Happy Skin Zit Zapper (ZZ) Second Skin Cream!

Of course I haven't tested ZZ Cream as of the moment but I'll give you a quick recap on what I learned about this product ---

• Comes with 3 powerful ingredients: Grapefruit extract, which is rich in antioxidants and effectively prevents sebum oxidation that triggers pimples.  Yoghurt Extract, which minimizes the growth of acne bumps and a Skin Brightener that lightens acne scars
• The ZZ Cream comes with Salicylic Acid that helps treat unwanted zits, reduce redness, pimple size and swelling. 
• Can be used (in little amount) even after a visit from the dermatologist.
• Comes in 1 shade because it adjusts to the skin tone of every Filipina.
• Good for all skin types but it is advisable for very dry skin users to use this on alternate days.  Salicylic Acid as we all know has a drying effect.

 Exciting right?  Well, I'll definitely share my in-depth review as soon as I try it out!  I'll also ask my sister to try it out as she has oily skin!

Now back to the launch!  3 New colors were also introduced to us from another bestseller - Happy Skin Shut Up & Kiss Me Lippies!

I am happy to announce that all 3 shades from this collection is flattering for different skin tones!  These 3 are joining the permanent line.

Since the swatch was taken during the event and it was pretty much dark during the time the photo was taken, I wore all 3 shades instead for you to appreciate the shade more!

AMW Wearing Just Say Yes.

Just Say Yes is a peachy-pink shade that is flattering even for fair-skinned users like me!  I mean seriously, don't we all look sick if we were light colored lippie?  Not this!

AMW Wearing Honeymoon Glow

Honeymoon Glow is an earthy nude color with a terra cotta base.  This is perfect "nude" lips for highly pigmented lips like me!

AMW Wearing Playing Footsie

Yay for powerful fuchsia shade that is daring and bright yet not too overpowering!  This shade makes my teeth appears really white don't you think?  Playing Footsie is a wonderful alternative to red lipstick wearers who like to try something different.

As usual, all lippies are highly pigmented, very hydrating and long-lasting!

Mine is Honeymoon Glow just because for the fact that you don't see a lot of terra cota colored lippie that doesn't make me look like I came out of the 90's magazine!
