Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm Review

From the first "crayon-like" lipstick called Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Balm, which, by the way, is already AHMAYZZHHINNGG!  Clinique came up with an intense, highly pigmented and very hydrating version called Clinique Chubby Stick Intense.  Let's say those 2 are a couple, well, they finally wed and have a baby called Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint.

What's the difference between the 3?

Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Balm is a regular lip balm with regular pigmentation.  Hydration is good.
Clinique Chubby Stick Intense is similar to the original Chubby Stick in terms of moisture properties but is more intense in terms of pigmentation.
Clinique Chubby stick Baby Tint has the least pigmentation (almost invisible if you have pigmented lips), you don't get the exact color on tube but it is highly hydrating, even more hydrating than "her" parents.

According to Clinique, the new Baby Tint is all about you, with a collection of 4 SHEER shades from orange to pink to red and violet, it brings out your lips' natural tone.  Infused with Vitamin C, Shea Butter, Mango Seed Butter and Jojoba Seed Oil, the formula delivers a surge of moisture leaving lips soft and supple.

4 Shades available:
Poppin’ Poppy, Coming Up Rosy, Budding Blossom, Flowering Freesia.

I own 2 of the shades.

Coming Up Rosy
Color looks wild on packaging but upon application, it goes really sheer to my lips but better.  Lips look more hydrated and have a hint of reddish pink tone.

Flowering Freesia
And just when you thought you'll have purple-lips, it won't happen!  Though wearing this is almost like wearing a regular lip balm (again, I have highly pigmented lips), this shade gives me the "pearlescent glow".  My lips look hydrated, plumper and actually prettier in a sense that the lip lines aren't enhanced.

In my opinion,  this collection is perfect for teens that like to start wearing lipstick but are afraid of the "judgmental looks" she may get.  This is also a perfect "base" prior to lipstick application because it is not as "slippery" as regular lip balm so lipstick can stay longer if applied on top.

If you ask me, my love for Chubby Stick Intense still prevails!  As for you, if you're interested, these NEW Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Colour Balms are available at Clinique counters priced at Php1,000.00 (approx $23.00).

P.S. I apologize there are no more photos of me wearing these because it won't show up, it looks just like my lips but not as dry!

Will you purchase the NEW Clinique Chubby Stick baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm considering how sheer the effect is?

Stay happy!
