Because L'Oreal Lucent Magique is really A Blush of Light Glow!

Light...Glow!
2 Words I love when it comes to anything I put on my face.  Yes, because I have dry skin, but no, this doesn't make your skin look oily!  So it works for ALL skin types!

That's L'oreal Lucent  Magique Blush of Light Glow Palette.  I don't know how or when I got this, I probably received this as Christmas gift or as a payment to a quick makeup project I did.  Nevertheless, this blush got my full attention in ONE swipe and I had to blog about it...right here, right now, even without product shot!

That's why I had to search Google and grab  a photo, the Blush of Light Glow Palette by L'Oreal Paris comes in 4 lovely "glowing" shades.  I got 01 Duchess Rose.

Duchess Rose is a mauve pink shade that is very natural when applied on cheeks.  The 3 shades blended together is perfect to create a nice "lift" to my "blah" skin.  I can also use the shades separately (they come in 3) as an eyeshadow OR just to highlight key areas around my face.  For now, I love using this as a blush!

According to L'Oreal Lucent Magique ---
The 1st Blush of Light Trio Blush Palette that creates an exquisitely magical lit-from-within glow.
Light pigments radianced with innovative glow pigment technology.  A subtle harmony of three luminous, translucent hues to enliven the rosy glow of all Asian Skin Tones.  Caputres the light to sculpt a perfect 3D glow.

The box has Japanese characters written all over it so I believe this particular line is manufactured in Japan.  Thus explains the gorgeous "natural, barely-there yet it gives an ooomph effect" makeup as most Japanese love.

The blush comes in a lovely gold compact, very expensive to look at, I tell you!  The brush that comes with the product is use-able but I find using my own blush brush is even better!

Since the name says Blush of Light Glow, do not expect this product to be highly pigmented so I doubt this will show up on a dark skin tone (probably a downside).  The good side though is that you won't mess up with application, no matter how much you apply, the effect will always be subtle.  You don't believe me?  Check out my photo below wearing 01 Duchess Rose on cheeks layered 3 times. Can you see the lovely glow on the apples of my cheeks?

Now you understand why I had to share this discovery!  I may be one busy gal but I will always have time to share my beauty finds!

Do you love the effect of L'Oreal Lucent Magique Blush of Light Glow Palette on me?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

  3. I tried Duchess Rose and it barely shows up on my cheeks. I had to apply around 5 layers to get it to be visible!

    1. Yes, these blushes aren't as highly pigmented , I guess what they want to achieve is a natural "glow" instead of obvious color :D
