Smart Unveils World's First Pay-with-Load Service to App Store and iTunes!

I got an invite from my Smart friends to attend an "unveiling" event of something FIRST, something Exciting!

It was at Makati Shangri-La and let me tell you what these 3 guys  Mon Isberto, Lloyd Manaloto and Anthony Esporlas are celebrating about.

Subscribers of Smart (postpaid and prepaid) can now add to their monthly bill or use load credits to pay for their favorite App Store and iTune store purchases.

"Pay-With-Mobile" is the name of the service, this service helps eliminate the need for credit card to get paid content and make in-app purchases through the App Store and iTunes.  How?

• Simply register by texting REG to 4949.
• After texting, you will receive your Pay-With-Mobile number and other pertinent account details.
• Once ready, you can go to the Apple ID Account Settings page on iTunes or the App Store, select "MasterCard" as payment option and enter the number and other details on the corresponding fields. 

That's it!  For every successful transaction, you will receive SMS notification to inform you of your purchases.  Please keep in mind that a 15% premium charge will be charged on top of the published App Store and iTunes rates to account for VAT and foreign exchange rate difference.
