Jabra Talk 15SE Review

 

Do you use wireless ear piece when you talk on the phone?

I do, I used to have a full on earphone for work wearing it from 8am to 6pm straight.  I need my hands free when talking on the phone for work as I type relevant and important details for my HR job.  I also tend to multi-task a lot!  So I also use it in between cooking, dishwashing and a whole lot more!  Catching up with my family is super important so I love to chitchat while doing house chores making tasks easier to manage!

I also use earphones a lot whenever I drive.  I love catching up with my husband and son in between traffic and update them on my whereabouts.  As you can see, very vital siya sa life ko so I am glad I discovered one that sits comfortably on my ear --- my ears are weird by the way, most ear phones fall off on its' own!  Kaya this newly discovered JABRA TALK 15SE is staying with me because --- simply said --- it just stayed!

The functions are quite basic and you can find them on most earphones whether brand or not.  The difference that I like about this is the comfort.  How it can sit comfortably on my ears for hours without pain and the sound quality is good naman even to listen to music!  

Again, to each their own, you can find better options of course for higher price range but this is okay for the affordable price.

LUMOS RAY Projector Review

 

A fact I haven't shared to anybody and I am sharing today.

The last time I went out to watch a movie at a movie house was more than 9 years ago!  YES!  9 years!  I remembered having morning sickness inside the movie house but I had to pull myself together because I love Liam Neeson so much in Taken I had to watch the sequel by hook or by crook!

Don't give me that sad look, I chose not to watch movies at theaters because I prefer to spend time with my family on weekends as I have a very busy schedule on weekdays I'd rather spend quiet and quality time at home.  

That said, my love for watching movies at home via Netflix started years before pandemic started.  I remembered having a conversation with my husband wishing to have a home-theater-like screen or TV and that idea was swept on the side as most projectors are bulky and let's not talk about the price!

Affordability may be the number 1 factor to some in investing on a nice home cinema but for me, aside from the fact that LUMOS RAY projectors are inexpensive, there are some key points that made me love this more!

• Premium & Elegant Look – aside from being cute, lightweight and handy.  I love the color and the minimalistic & sleek look.  I personally do not like an object displayed in my room that looks "out of place".  The color and design, I would imagine goes really well in most homes!
• Ease of use - for someone who is not very "techie", I find the Plug & Play feature of LUMOS RAY Projector as another WIN!  I dislike fumbling through instruction manuals and I know, we all shouldn't do that, but I was able to turn this projector on and use it immediately!

Even at home, I depend on Powerbanks like no other!  I work a lot in every corner of my house!  When my son is doing his online school, I sit next to him either working or playing games!  In the afternoon, I work beside him as he answers his homeworks.  I also cook a lot and take videos and photos of the steps of my cooking so I don’t have access to direct “plug” so at this point, you probably understood how much of a Powerbank-dependent I am and I have a whole drawer of powerbanks!

I have seen and heard about the brand Veger  from my online mommy friends!  The quality of their powerbanks seems really nice and sturdy so I checked their Official LazStore right away and found something new!

The Veger Vibe Magneic Wireless Powerbank with 5,000mAh.  These are perfect for Iphone 12 models but I have an Iphone 11 Pro Max and it still works.  Magnet isn’t as strong as of that of Iphone 12 models but works just as fine as I like to charge my phone laying down on the table.

Sudio Tolv Review

 

Music has already been a major part of my life.  From the time I go to work every single day (an hour to an hour and a half ride) to working at an enclosed office in front of the computer, I already have my trustee MP3 Player and a speaker or earphones!  

Fast forward to more than a decade later, I still depend on music to perk me up just like a cup of coffee would.  Right now, I am listening to BTS Playlist as I type this post!  

Now that I have a kid who likes his peace, I need a good wireless earphone whenever I work out because he was either busy studying or doing his homework and I don’t like to disturb him.

Loving my Casetify Cases!

 

When it comes to phone cases, I am quite conservative!  The most phone cases I own in a phone model is around 5!  That’s the max because most of the time, I was gifted with extra phone cases but if I buy them, it’s just 1 phone case PER PHONE MODEL.

Told ya !  I am a smart shopper!  I only invest on one high quality case that would protect my phone for years and years to come!

No thanks to technology and lockdown and online shopping, I have been seeing a lot of Casetify ads on both Instagram and Facebook.  I ended up browsing through their site and wondering how it feels to own a phone case that is personalized!  Then I was gifted with 2!  (Talk about wish granted!)

Okay, as always, you’ll hear the real deal about these cases.  No sugar-coating, I will also share my experience in shipping!  Are you ready?

My Casetify iPhone11 Pro Max cases were shipped on December 21, 2020.  I received a notice card from our local Postal Office to pick up the package around January 12 which isn’t bad!  Less than a month’s time to have my package in our country considering the holidays + COVID19 delays!  

The only downside is the fact that this was shipped using local PO so I was asked to pick it up my own at our P.O.  Thank God the place isn’t far but with the COVID19 threat, I’d rather not go out and staying with a lot of people in line.  The time I picked up this package, there were a number of people so social distancing should be practiced by yourself because the others don’t have that inkling to do so! 

Back to the package, each cases were protected with a box and foam!  The back of the phoen case has peel-off sticker so you are assured of protection from scratch!  

THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL.

I get why there were a lot of raves and noises online regarding this brand!  You really get high quality cases and prints are really good!  

Some reviews mentioned about the bad quality of print but thankfully, I don’t have those issues with mine.

My Work From Home Setup

 

When lockdown started last March, I was at a lost!  I was left without a househelp (she got pregnant and gave birth) and my son suddenly had to prepare for online schooling so I was busy preparing his “study area”.  

That said, my work laptop was set up for my son’s Zoom class.  I have a desktop in my home office but I find it really hard to juggle mom task, house work, and work at the same time.  It was indeed difficult to be always on-the-go so my work slowed down so much from March-September.

Then I realized, I have to get used to this situation, COVID-19 stays so whether I like it or not, I have to stand up and do something, get my life back to the organized self!

While assisting my son during online school the whole morning, I sat beside him working on my iPhone 11 Pro Max.  It was big enough for me (in my own world LOL), and I’ve been creating blog posts, answering email and even edit videos using my trustee handphone.

Comes August, my husband has been telling me he wanted to purchase me an iPad Pro 2020 12.9 inches so my eyes won’t suffer.  I brushed off the idea because I don’t want to spend extra during pandemic.  I also felt the phone is enough since I seldom stay put! 

It was a bit hard and challenging to purchase expensive gadgets online, thankfully, because of Tiktok!  (YES TIKTOK) I found a legit online shop and little did I know, the husband ordered from them na!  So after using this for almost a month, I can say this was the “Thing that I thought I do not need but SUPER need!”

This is my official work set up, but technically, I hold both Bluetooth/wireless keyboard and my iPad Pro 12.9  wherever I go and I can work in the study area of my son, play area when he plays, dining area - as I wait for the dishes to be cooked, etc...

I definitely work smarter and faster!  The Logitech Wireless and bluetooth keyboard is a perfect match as well!

The Gift For HIM

Mr. AMW is one of the simplest guy I know.  Out of 22 years we are together as BF/GF and Husband and Wife, I never hear him "want something".  Well, food makes him happy, that explains all my AMW recipes.  But when it comes to special occasions gift-giving, I honestly find it hard to surprise him because he is never into material things, he always exclaim: "I don't need it, I have enough!"

Do I Exercise?

I used to, a lot!

But now, I'm slowly getting back to my active lifestyle as  I have been slacking off for the past 5 years (since I gave birth).  Today, I am announcing to the world, that I am doing my best to stay in shape!  Because I want to be healthy, I want to live longer - for me and my family!

A lot of you may find it easy just to announce what they want to do, as for me I needed motivation!  Everyday, I send my son to school in the morning and go straight to a coffee shop and nerd away with piles of work!  That goes on for more than a year, almost 2 years today!

One day, I did a lot of errands and was walking to several places and ended up with painful musles and joints.  It was a wake-up call for me (hello!  I'm not a grandma yet!)

So I made a conscious effort to do some simple yet effective workouts in between tasks.  A 30 -minute or even 10-minutes walk is still better than none.

So owning a Fitbit Alta HR is a perfect timing for me as it is a great motivation tool and it doesn't hurt that it looks cute on my wrist!

Note: Getting a manual treadmill at home is another option to easily get some extra exercise in during your day, without even having to leave your house!

Some Changes I've Done for Year 2018

2018 started out pretty well.

2 days after 2018, I was hired to do the job I love most - teach makeup to a small group of eager learners!  

Aside from that, I was able to work with a brand for a very important project which I can finally tick off from my bucket list! 

In life, it is easier to just "go with the flow" and stick to what works!  "Why change?  When everything's working out well?"

That statement gets to be blurted out so easily by me, I used to be that way, "Matigas ang ulo."  (hard-headed).  I disliked change so much it felt like "change" is trying to ruin the world that I'm trying the create - my tiny rigid universe.  

Thankfully, my job entails me to meet, socialize and work with inspiring people.  Because of that, I got inspired, and inspiration welcomes CHANGE.  I can actually see myself changing, and it was the for the better because I can sense that!

Let's start with the simplest change in life that I managed to do.  Some sounded so childish and small, but it is because of these tiny changes I get the courage to aim for bigger goals!

Last November 17, I braved the crazy Friday Traffic from Manila to Ortigas just to be at the Smart Jump Center, SM Megamall.  

Okay, it took me 2.5 hours to be exact, but the leg pain and bladder issues were dissolved when I got hold of my newest iPhone 8 Plus which will serve me well on both work and personal use!  (K-Drama watching will be so much easier to the eyes!)

I remembered how I got my iPhone 7 early this year!  It was as easy as going to the Smart center and pay a minimal amount because I opted for higher memory (hello Kyle Nash videos and photos!)  This is what I love about being a Smart Subscriber, I don't need to shell out one-time cash-out because I have a good monthly plan - so must you!

OPPO F5 Launch and I was there!

Today is definitely a world of "Selfie", I mean, how many times can you really ask someone to help you take a photo?  I was just lucky I met with Blogger friend Tina Villa when I attended the OPPO F5 launch at City of Dreams because I will end up taking a selfie myself in this gorgeous background!

I sit in front of the computer way longer than staying in front of TV.  I can't even remember watching a TV show more than 30 minutes every since I work from home.  

But, everyone in the family depends on TV for entertainment especially after dinner when Mr. AMW's family would sometimes join us for dinner!  As much as I would like to apply for a cable subscription in ALL our televisions at home, it isn't practical because like I said, I don't spend much time on TV but when the "need" or "want" calls for it, I want to have at least something ready.

Asus Unveils Complete Line-Up of Zenfone 3 Family!

So you all know I'm an ASUS Zenfone user as my personal phone when I reviewed the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0.   It is a straightforward smartphone for busy women like me!  So when I got an invite for an exclusive launch of Zenfone 3 family last August held at Sofitel Philippine Plaza, I had to be there to check what's new!
