I don't easily swayed by products that promises instant result but for a long time, I was intrigued by the Beauty Makeup Filling Bald Hair Shading Sponge Pen Concealer which costs less than Php100. Nothing to lose since I am sure a lot of you are intrigued if it works for not.
I am obviously on online shopping sites A LOT!
Can’t blame this girl. I have no time to shop because I am already in a rush! Even my groceries, I still do online shopping 80% of the time. So, let me get to the point.
I like to browse on Tiktok and Instagram Reels because I find it therapeutic to learn and watch new stuff. And yes, to “Budol” myself to shop more! :P Thankfully, as I was able to watch a video on a Korean influencer using these velcro clips for “celebrity clients” and Kpop artists, I went straight to Lazada and found myself a pair!
TBH, there are far cheaper similar pair but I bought from this shop since I purchase other stuff that are not available in other shops. Soooo no more explanations..let’s head straight to my thoughts.

Let's start with my favorite gift ideas - for Moms and Moms-to-Be ...or JUST BECAUSE. Because these products I recently discovered are good for EVERYONE!
Element Mom is a toxin-free skincare for pregnancy and beyond. Based from research, this band was founded during the height of COVID Pandemic year 2020. So this is a baby brand. For someone who got the chance to test this out when this brand is just starting out, I am honored!
If you type in hair curlers on this blog's search box, you will probably see that for someone who has only 1 head of hair, I do own a number of hair tools! Don't get me wrong, hairstyling was my first love that is why I studied hair cutting and hair styling first before I studied make up artistry.
I am frustrated with curling and styling my hair. I used to sit for hours practicing at my own hair and that includes buying various tools to create the hairstyle I want. At the end of the day, aside from a good curling tool, you also need a good pair of hands with loads of practice to achieve the hairstyle we all want.

A few years ago, I watched this light Korean Drama called True Beauty. In this story, this girl, who has bad skin learned to do makeup and style her hair to look pretty! On episode 1, my eyes got caught with this cute pastel-colored curling iron she used and I researched the brand right away -- Korean brand VODANA. At that time, it was close to impossible to buy this brand because I have to either physically go to Korea or buy from their website which is way more expensive to have it shipped locally.
Thankfully, with the advancement of online shopping (No Thanks to COVID by the way for all the lockdown), I was able to find a Korean seller via Lazada who sells VODANA products. I did a lot of research and finally went for 32mm size.

I review and test skincare and makeup products both for Blogs and social media for quite a while now. A lot of people do not know, I test products professionally too! I've worked with several brands locally who plan to bring in skincare or makeup products to our country. Before doing so, these tester products were sent my way for testing with multiple pages of questions. That said, I do have this really sharp sense of love and dedication in testing products!
When I was given the chance to try on a new Korean Skincare brand that I haven't tried in the past. I jumped to the chance immediately and tested it for almost a month! And this particular brand isn't hard to review because I ended up liking it so much I am still using it even after review.
On the spotlight for today is SKIN1004.
As always, I always do research before I accepting products to review. The brand is known in Korea as an award-winning hypoallergenic & natural skincare brand. They use main ingredient like CENTELLA ASIATICA which I have tried in the past and it worked so well for me so I immediately jumped to testing the whole Madagascar Centella range which is known to be the perfect line for sensitive skin.
Not everyone, of course, can pick up a whole line immediately like I did so I will share my top Skin1004 favorites! I want to say ALL but I have to pick my top 3!

MADAGASCAR CENTELLA AMPOULE
I mostly use serums instead of ampoule because for the obvious fact that most ampoules I have tried have "thicker" consistency as compared to serum. This type of texture won't go well with our hot and humid climate. As soon as I tried Madagascar Centella Ampoule, I was a convert! because it has the lightest texture I have tried in an ampoule.
It is light, watery, non-sticky and works so well on all skin types!
How to use?
I like to use this after cleansing and toning. I squirt once or twice for the whole face and gently tap on my face and neck. The product can immediately calm skin redness from my usual double/triple cleansing (My skin is very sensitive so it usually turns red after cleansing.). After applying this ampoule, I can immediately see how my skin is calmer and has lesser red spots. I also noticed how noticeably brighter and more hydrated my skin gets! Best of all, there's none of the greasy, sticky-feel!

I tested this flat iron for many times, doing straight hair, wavy hair and curler hair. And true to its’ size, it is in between the smallest flat iron I own (which is around 12 inches) and the regular sized flat iron that are sole in the market for years. This is around a whole face size - the size of this straightener goes from the tip of my forehead down to my chin. And it is a simple smooth, black textured product with pink plates making this a cute addition in your dresser.
The Iron has a curved side making it easy to do smooth curls.
Since this is a smaller hair straightener, it is best to note to section your hair in SMALLER section as compared to regular straightener. Check out the amount of hair to perfectly creat waves or curls. BUT, if you plan to straighten your hair, you can grab more
Even at home, I depend on Powerbanks like no other! I work a lot in every corner of my house! When my son is doing his online school, I sit next to him either working or playing games! In the afternoon, I work beside him as he answers his homeworks. I also cook a lot and take videos and photos of the steps of my cooking so I don’t have access to direct “plug” so at this point, you probably understood how much of a Powerbank-dependent I am and I have a whole drawer of powerbanks!

I am definitely NOT raising my hands. I am one of those laziest person you can find to take vitamins as I find some multivitamins to be too big and too smelly!

Seems like the weekend is what I am always looking forward to because I can sleep a few hours longer! Kyle’s online school starts too early I can’t believe I am waking up at 6:00am again like I used to when I was in school! (Ahem, not true, I wake up at 5:00am before!)
But showing you my comfortable OOTD perfect for days you need to look good yet comfortable enough to do your tasks on the floor! Yeah, I love sitting on the floor while Kyle is having classes. I have issues with certain chairs and sitting on the floor helps my spine in some way or another!
I am going through a super challenging phase as of the moment, my family got COVID-19 and that includes both my senior parents! I actually go this box of OrigAMI Chocolates earlier but decided to keep most of it because I can’t bear eating them but I finally opened 1 on each day that I am going through so much and Google Translate messages coming from the Big Hit! Yes from our boys!

Since March, I haven’t gone out of my comfort zone. Meaning, I have been out to visit my parents’ home but that’s just it! I never even left for grocery shopping - they’re all done online!

I have shared the usual tips like wearing face masks and face shield, wearing no accessories as much as possible (or the least if needed like watch or wedding band), bring alcohol, extra bag to store extra clothing (will explain that later) and constantly wash hands if given the opportunity.
On fashion side, I prefer to wear one piece clothing like a dress, a romper, a maxi dress so it will be easier for me to remove my clothing before entering key areas of home!
