"Max Your Beauty" with the Honor 9 Lite!

I used to dislike taking photos of myself because the outcome is always "weird".  Weird in the sense that I don't look like myself and kind of feel like my face is distorted.  But taking selfies using back of the camera takes a whole lot of energy, talent and 6th sense!  Most of the time, I only get half of my face or maybe a full-yet-blurred face!

Just stop taking "Selfies" right?
Not in my case as a Beauty Blogger.

When I found a nice blush that matches my complexion, a lip color that made my dry lips healthy-looking or a face powder that looks oh-so-natural while covering red spots and under eye circles.  These are the moments I feel like whipping out a camera and share to the world my "Beauty Eureka Moments".  And when I share, I make it a point that the photos aren't half-baked!  I want them clear, true-to-life colors that would make readers or followers understand and see what I'm talking about - that's the power of caring by sharing!

So when I first heard about a new phone from Huawei called Honor 9 Lite thru my favorite online shopping app (https://shopee.ph) and the product got me at Quad Lens Camera!  

OPPO F5 Launch and I was there!

Today is definitely a world of "Selfie", I mean, how many times can you really ask someone to help you take a photo?  I was just lucky I met with Blogger friend Tina Villa when I attended the OPPO F5 launch at City of Dreams because I will end up taking a selfie myself in this gorgeous background!

OPPO unveiled the F5 during the launch.  The A.I. Beauty Recognition mobile phone that is designed to personalize beautification based on personal facial traits of a subject thus giving a customized selfie that is unique to every person!  

Thank Goodness!

Gone are the slim sharp chin, big round eyes and super poreless skin!  

The event started with a lively performance from Spongecola.  Yael rocked the Grand Ballroom with 3 songs that I found myself humming even on my way home.

I was recently sent a Starmobile PLAY Max 5-inch for review.  This phone is hailed one of the most affordable big battery smartphone to date!  How affordable?  Priced only at Php3,290.00!  And what do you get?

Unbox: Asus Zenfone2 Laser 5.5S

I have been using my Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0 for quite some time and I'm very happy with its' performance!  I heavily rely on it for Social Media postings, checking of emails and Youtube for Kyle Nash!  I know I said I'm 100% happy, it doesn't hurt if the same Zenfone 2 Laser phone comes in bigger screen!

Zefone 2 Laser 5.5S looks similar to my Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0 particularly because I got both units on same Gold shade!

I shared on my IG account how the coming of Zenfone 2 Laser was perfect timing because my Samsung S5 is starting to act up.  You've probably seen a lot of reviews from fellow bloggers so I'll try to make this as straightforward as possible, a girl and guy's point of view!  I had to include the guy's point of view because I had Mr. AMW trying out all the technical stuff and I went gaga over the usual "Social Media apps".

The color that I got is perfect, in Gold finish because as much as I'm childlike in nature, when it comes to my gadget, I want the sophisticated-feel!

Why do you see us (Beauty Bloggers) on tech events like Smart Phone Launch?
Well, I have the answer!  Bloggers, in general, live and breathe with a smartphone on their hand!  I may not speak for the rest of the Blogging World but I know I literally can't live without my phone!  I remembered just several minutes after getting back to the room after giving birth, the first thing I asked was my phone, because I had to take a photo of my newborn baby and share it to my relatives here and abroad!

And oh, even with a hyperactive toddler playing with me (You can see how kulit he is on Snapchat @AskMeWhats), I can still take videos and photos of his EVERY Milestones.

I can literally write down 100 things I can do with my Smartphone but I'm sure you get the drift!  So yes, when a new phone that is said to create a BUZZ in the phone industry, we had to be there!

 It was a first for me to attend the Starmobile launch.  The event was held at EDSA Shangri-la hotel at Peninsula Ballroom.  You won't miss the event location as the huge sign will greet you.

AMW Reviews: Asus Zenfone 4 and 5

Seldom can you find a person NOT using smartphones nowadays!  We are definitely living in a world were we rely so much on technology!  Look at me for example!  The moment I wake up (before the little one does), I check my mail, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter page.  On days, I want to cook something exciting, I have my phone right beside me and I'll search on recipes!  If I need to go somewhere, I go online on WAZE to make sure I get traffic updates and of course, directions just in case I get lost due to reroutes!

The list could go on and on! 

No wonder mobile phone companies are coming with better (and more inexpensive) versions of the SmartPhones we love to depend on!  The brand I recently got to know is Asus and they are called ZenFones.

I was lucky enough to get 2 Zenfones to test!  Zenfone 4 and 5!

I originally call this a "His and Her" phone but after trying out both, I want to call these "HER AND HER" phone!  I want these 2!  Hahaha

Both ZenFones are powered by Intel Processor.  I may not be a "Tech Blogger" but I know a thing or 2 about phones and let me share to you how I find both phones.
