"Max Your Beauty" with the Honor 9 Lite!

I used to dislike taking photos of myself because the outcome is always "weird".  Weird in the sense that I don't look like myself and kind of feel like my face is distorted.  But taking selfies using back of the camera takes a whole lot of energy, talent and 6th sense!  Most of the time, I only get half of my face or maybe a full-yet-blurred face!

Not in my case as a Beauty Blogger.

When I found a nice blush that matches my complexion, a lip color that made my dry lips healthy-looking or a face powder that looks oh-so-natural while covering red spots and under eye circles.  These are the moments I feel like whipping out a camera and share to the world my "Beauty Eureka Moments".  And when I share, I make it a point that the photos aren't half-baked!  I want them clear, true-to-life colors that would make readers or followers understand and see what I'm talking about - that's the power of caring by sharing!

So when I first heard about a new phone from Huawei called Honor 9 Lite thru my favorite online shopping app (https://shopee.ph) and the product got me at Quad Lens Camera!

Now, remember my issue on taking selfies because of the quality of the photo on front camera?  Well, with Honor 9 Lite, you won't have that issue because this smartphone provides the same premium photography experience for both front and back camera.  Both are dual-lens so photos look more natural and lively.

The outcome of my selfie.  I know most smartphones nowadays have automatic filters and I actually dislike how "fake-looking" I look on those shots.  With the Honor 9 Lite phone, they also have Beauty Filter but you can easily control it with a slide of your fingertip from level from 0-10.

I like it that I can still see my eyebags, the frizziness of my hair and some lines and red spots around my face - that's true and natural beauty you guys! :P

Because I am a Beauty Blogger who loves to take photos of my makeup looks, I see to it that my readers can see the "real effect" of the makeup I used and I'm glad the outcome is as real as it gets!  I also like the Bokeh Effect (the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image) which can be controlled by adjusting the aperture setting.

Most photos taken in this phone looks true-to-life!  I find myself not editing as much as before!

I don't usually get impressed easily on new phones, but the look of Honor 9 Lite is fashionable and on-trend!  Available in colors - Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and Glacier Grey.  I also like the mirror-like reflective glass back limited to Sapphire Blue and Glacier Gray which inspires me to use a clear casing just to showcase the beauty of the phone!
