We watched a fashion show from both brands and had chance to mingle with fellow fashion enthusiasts and get to shop at their newest stores.

BCL Philippines - MomoPuri and Saborino Review

 

2 skincare brands were launch a couple of weeks ago and I attended their FB Live launch session.  Seeing all the buzz from fellow Beauty Bloggers/Vloggers and with BCL Japan answering all our queries, I knew these are skincare products worth checking out.

WORTH CHECKING OUT because I immediately used these after the launch (which I usually don't because I really line up my skincare reviews.)  For some reason, these took my interest maybe because of the cute packaging, the scent, or the fact that these are no-drama type of skincare....these are created for girls who don't have the luxury of time which points to --- ME!

Let's start with Momopuri, Momopuri skincare line with Peach Ceramides and Lactobacillus, these products are inspired by peaches as you can see in their packaging and if you can take a sniff on their scent!  I am not a fan of peach scented anything but I am somewhat addicted to these!  

All the products are made to help women achieve healthy, plump and bouncy skin!

Happy 2nd Birthday Club Clio!

And what to expect from the store that brings us so much joy?
A WHOLE LOT OF GREAT Skincare and Makeup products!  I am drooling when I attended their Birthday Party and I can't wait to share my thoughts on some of the items I got!

But for now, I'll just give you an "overview' on what to expect (and what to spend on) when you get inside a Club Clio store!

Let's go per brand shall we?  There's Clio, PeriPera and Goodal!  Let's start with CLIO!

CLIO launched their Pro Layering Eye Palettes and I got the Pink Palette!  Can't wait to play some cute looks with it!

There's also the most-awaited Kill Cover Glow Cushion!  This cushion (I tried on AMW IG Stories) won the hearts of many as you can see my skin glow so naturally!  And please, don't let me start talking about the packaging as it looks gorgeous!



And who would've thought primers could get any better?  The Pre-Step line from CLIO is a must as they have options to choose from!  Peach Tone Up Primer for that glowing skin, Moist Primer for extra boost of moisture before makeup application, a Pore Primer for users with Oily skin.

Dior Addict Stellar Shine Launch

Dior Addict Stellar Shine was launched locally at One Canvass Place Makati. 
I was there to witness the "Be Dior. Be Pink" launch.  An invitation to shine your very own way.

Glass Skin Techniques I learned during the 2nd Store opening of Innisfree at SM Megamall

When Innisfree opens its' first store in the Philippines at SM Mall of Asia, I loved the experience so much I wrote a Guide to Shopping at Innisfree SM Mall of Asia branch.

When I got another invite to visit the brand's 2nd store located at SM Megamall A, I knew I had to be there and check out the newest store and see what they have to offer.

For some reason, the interior of both stores have the same organized feel that I super love!  Same as the SM MOA branch, you will be greeted with a categorized display of skincare and makeup items!  Overwhelming?  YES, but you won't get lost if you check out my guide and guess what?  I have more tips today!  Before the tips, I will be sharing to you a quick overview of the 2nd store.

Everyone needs to cleanse their face, the 2 display is a perfect area for you to jumpstart your skincare products shopping!

BLK Cosmetics K-Beauty Launch

I have seen Anne Curtis used her newest line of K-Beauty makeup from BLK Cosmetics a couple of times during her Instagram Stories or Instagram Live.  I got intrigued with the products as the shades are gorgeous, wearable by every single Filipina!  That's why I make it a point to attend her Grand Launch last Tuesday April 2, 2019 at Happy Garden Cafe.

According to Anne: "A lot of this collection is inspired by the feels of K-Drama.  Aside from that, the collection is also inspired by the season of Spring, though it's summer all-around in the Philippines, we wanted shades that would look super fresh and romantic.  The shades are based from flowers and nature."

As I swatched all the products, I knew this will be a huge hit as I am inspired to create a K-Beauty look myself!  Are you ready to check out the products included in this collection?  (P.S. 90% of the stocks were sold out when it was first released at Lazada!)

Welcome to my skincare arsenal - with the NEW Clinique iD!

If you know my skincare journey, you'll know that my blog started with my quest for a good skincare regiment that would work for my dry, very sensitive skin.

It was healed all because of Clinique DDML and Moisture Surge.  I cannot count how many times I've repurchased the said set because it really works.

A Guide to Shopping at Innisfree SM Mall of Asia

Rewind to several years ago, I was in Myeondong Innisfree store hoarding on their Apple-scented Cleansing Oils and a couple of makeup items (concealers, mascaras, etc...)

Those where the days my ever-supportive hubby would say: "Go lang!  Purchase a lot because you need to stock up!"

Who would've thought after all the brands are starting to arrive in Manila, the most sought after brand Innisfree is finally here?

I literally had to pinch myself when I first laid my eyes on the First Innisfree store at SM Mall of Asia Level 1 Main Atrium.  It was surreal as it looks almost the same as the big store I visited last year in Myeongdong.

I know!  I know the feeling of panic so I've finally came up with a "guide" on how to keep yourself focused in picking the right Innisfree products for you!

First stop, check out the BESTSELLER section of the brand.  The Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask 2X which was sworn to be effective not only by women but also by men!  This  is a 10-in-1 clay mask is formulated with Jeju Volcanic Cluster SphereTM that features twice more powerful adherence to sebum for intensive pore care

Benefit X Solique Launch

Two brands really close to my heart did a wonderful collaboration my "pink heart" gets so excited about!  The launch happened a couple of weeks ago and I'm still on a Benefit x Solique High!  (So are my nails as I am still wearing the polishes applied during the event!)

Now, I'm not pulling anyone's arm for saying this, each year, I really gift Benefit and Girlstuff products for friends and family!  My teenager-inaanaks love the shades of Girlstuff and Solique Gel Polishes while their moms appreciate that these are safe for their kids to wear!

Now Benefit on the other hand needs NO explanation, their packaging itself is already a gift and I tend to just give it to the recipient without gift-wrapping and I always get a loud "squeal"!  

This year, the Mrs. Santa is ready for another round of "Give Love and Happiness this Christmas" and the Benefit x Solique holiday sets made it easier for me --- just look how pretty they look on the Christmas Tree!

Let's talk one brand at a time as I seriously don't know where to start.

Solique is actually a sister brand of my favorite Girlstuff Nail Polish and Solique is a Gel Polish that need NO special UV lamps.  All you need to do is to apply your choice of Solique Gel Polish shade and top it with the Gel TopCoat and you're ready to go!  No soaking needed (heaven sent for me as I've had bad experiences in removing gel polish!)  Same as Girlstuff, they do not contain harmful and toxic chemicals like DBP (dibutyl phthalate), toluene and formaldehyde so again, kids and even pregnant mommies can wear them!

Benefit, on the other hand, came up with their yearly Holiday Sets and this year made my heart skipped a thousand times! 

BLK to the 90s Collection

When BLK Cosmetics was launched a year ago, I was there, because as s Beauty Blogger, I am always on a lookout for what's up and coming!

The brand did not fail, I've reviewed a couple of their products from the said brand so when I received another invite to celebrate with them for their 1st year anniversary plus a new collection launch #Blktothe90s , I knew I had to be there, even if it takes me several hours earlier at the event just to swatch away!

Orly The New Neutrals Launch

Nail polish lovers.
You all know Orly.  I don't need to give a long introduction about this brand because we always see them in nail salons and we always get confused on which color to choose for our hands and feet because they always come up with shades that are worthy for our digits!

Then, the decision-making gets even more complicated when they launched The New Neutrals this week!  Held at Kitchenails, Robinsons Galleria, I was pampered not only with a nice Pedi-session but also, I was offered my favorite drink of all time --- COFFEE with the help of Costa Coffee.

The new collection is amazing!  This Fall 2018 collection includes 6 brand new shades:  Cashmere Crisis, Snuggle Up, Fall Into Me, Mauvelous, Seize the Clay and Olive You Kelly (Left to right from photo above)

It was a first for me to try the service at Kitchenails and I love how homey and spacious the place was!  I get to be pampered by them using "kitchen utensils" from spatulo to kitchen brushes.  And of course, with Costa Coffee to serve us snacks, what could go wrong?

The Great Gatsby Party at Penthouse by the Bay

I won't forget this day.  A very busy Saturday as it started out early with brunch date with my Highschool friends, a quick grocery shopping for my parents at the supermarket then off to my mom and dad for his monthly haircut.  

At times, I wonder why I tend to be a Jane of All Trades Master of none, but during these times, I am very happy I took all the opportunities to learn things like Haircutting (I went to school for this way back before I studied makeup!), in times like these where my dad can't go out for his haircut, I can do a home service for him!  And yes, it does not hurt that I do great massages too!  My dad longs for it!

After breaking my clipper (I dropped it as I was extremely tired that day), I ended up cutting my dad hair using scissors and my sister said my dad looks young and cool (which I took it as a compliment).  I helped my dad take a shower with his caregiver, yes, I never thought the time will come I'd be comfortable bathing my dad!  But I guess being a mom myself changed everything!

Then I went home and took a shower again and did my makeup quickly as I head to the launch of Penthouse by the Bay at the Rizal Park Hotel.

I look quite okay right?  :D

If you like to book a staycation within Manila area near tourist sites like Rizal Park, Intramuros, Ongpin, etc...  You can look for The Rizal Park Hotel as an option as the place looks fabulous!  Picture-perfect in all corners!

Now, aside from the location and the beautiful interiors, pressing PH in the elevator will lead you to Penthouse By The Bay.  It is a rooftop lounge housing good music, great food and wonderful drinks.

Karimadon X Rosenthal Tee Collection Launch

I grew up with ONE particular clothing brand that is close to my heart.  

Why?

Well, I bought most of my dressy-dresses there!  For Prom, for Senior Ball, my dresses when I attend a wedding and a whole lot more!

That brand is called Karimadon and I used to be a loyal customer at their SM Sta. Mesa brand.  I love their huge fitting room and how they offer alterations for you.  

When I got an invite for Karimadon X Rosenthal Tee launch, I had to clear out my schedule because I've always loved Rosenthal's designs - her dresses are my kind of wear - fashionable, feminine and sophisticated!

So this collaboration definitely fits MY "fashion" bill.

This collection is inspired from the English Rose Garden at Dusk, Tee chose autumn touches of bold red, hunter green, navy and rust orange.  She adds her trademark color palette of creams and pinks, reflecting the English Rose.  

K Beauty by Beauty Bar Launch

We all love Korean skincare and makeup ever since the boom of Koreanovelas.  Glass skin is what we're all aiming for the past years and just when you think I have "glass skin" on photo below, don't be fooled, that's perspiration!  #hahaha

But seriously, I have been very consistent with masking and with my skincare products this year, less makeup, more skincare products is my goal because I am not getting any younger.

So the invite to see what K-Beauty brands are finally available in the local scene got my attention, even with crazy schedule, I had to squeeze this in!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude is the Newest Base I'm Starting To Love!

So you all know how much I love the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation!

I've tested it and written a review my blog and even tested it on #AMWIGstories once awhile back.

It delivers!  So I can't think of any other way the brand can top that!

Then I saw something new....well, it's technically NOT new as it has been around since a year or so but it is new to my eyes because it has been fixed to Double Wear Stay-in Place Makeup for quite some time now.  (Can't blame a loyal girl!)
