Pond's White Beauty Pearl Cleansing Gel Event

Pond's skincare will always have a special place in my heart!
If you have red my previous posts about skincare, my first "whitening and brightening" skincare is from Pond's and I went through the whole college life using only this brand!

So when my Sampleroom family invited me for an exclusive Bloggers' event to learn about Pond's newest breakthrough, I had to fix my schedule and be there! 

Pond's introduces the NEW Pond's Pearl Cleansing Gel.

Okay, I knew about gel moisturizers and I love this texture to bits!  But a gel cleanser?  How will it be any different from the past facial soap or cream format?

Well, what I learn during the event is that a gel format is easily absorbed and is more gentle on skin versus regular whitening.  And if I may have to add, after trying this facial wash for the first time, it feels really nice and my skin do not feel tight or dry even without following up with moisturizer!

I can't give a full on review for now as I only got to try this only 2x max since I got this!  But based on personal experience, this product does not cause any allergic reactions (consider that I have very sensitive skin especially on whitening products!)  

This product smells great though I personally wish the scent would be toned down a bit!  Fret not though, after a couple of minutes, the scent goes away!

With just a pea sized amount, my skin feels hydrated after use even without following up with a toner and moisturizer!  

During the event, a Zein demo was done to show how mild Pond's Pearl Cleansing Gel is even on the most sensitive skin.  The orange liquid contains regular whitening facial wash while the transparent liquid contains the new Pond's Pearl Cleansing Gel.

Two sheets of skin-like paper were dipped into both solutions and as seen on my photo below, the left side (facing you) had scratches and tear which shows how harsh most whitening products are!  On the other hand, the right sheet (facing you) remains as pink as ever!  

This test proved how Pond's Pearl Cleansing Gel is suitable even for sensitive skin.
