Unboxing: BDJ Elite Box - Revlon Love is On

Happy Saturday!  Weekend may not be a restful one for moms like me!  BUT, I always look forward to the weekend because it is the time we spend quality time with the husband and son!  (If!  I don't have work!  Even if I have, I made sure to make time for them!)

I call every weekend my LOVE weekend, and speaking of LOVE, the new Elite Box from BDJ Box is talks about The Look of Love and I believe I have that!

A photo of BDJ Elite Box

I may be really happy with almost ALL the boxes I received from BDJ Box but this one in particular made me giddy!  I was smiling like I kid when I unfold each content inside the box!

This is my first BDJ Box Elite and the packaging indeed screams ELITE!

With the size of the box, you wouldn't believe the BIG and ENORMOUS beauty love unfolds!  I was literally clapping especially after seeing Revlon Colorsilk!  I haven't been doing at-home-hair color treatment for years but this box made me want to do it!  What do you think?  Shall I go for Medium Auburn?  I want it as bright as the model's hair on box but I doubt it!

Revlon ColorSilk Beautiful COlor
in shade 42 Medium Auburn

If you are a long-time reader of my blog, you'll know that I have been a loyal Revlon Hair Color treatment user for years!  I've finished up box after box and I can't keep count!  My favorite shade has always been "Light Brown" and I am actually looking forward to try this!  I'm glad this time, it comes in 3D Color technology so I hope it looks even better than the old one!

I'll ask my trustee hairstylist (aka Mr. AMW) to help me with this as my hair is quite long!

Revlon Lash Curler with Replacement Pad
For years, I've heard good things about Revlon Eyelash Curler but as a Beauty Blogger who follows fellow Beauty Bloggers and they talk about only 2 brands --- Shu Uemura and Shiseido, that's why I ended up buying only 2 and didn't really try the rest!

For now, I will definitely give this a try and if it works, it will be a major steal considering the price!

Revlon Powder Blush in Oh Baby Pink
I've used a couple of Revlon blushes in the past and they deliver!  I like it that most of their powder blushes comes in "matte texture" and you all know my love for matte blush!

I like how it comes with the right amount of blush that would last you almost forever!  The brush that comes with the packaging is really nice (I actually use it) and the mirror is also helpful for those instant touch-ups.

The shade Oh Baby Pink is perfect for that super subtle glow!  It isn't matte and it gives out a slight sheen!  This shade would fit light to medium skin tone, if you have darker complexion, this may show up as a "highlighter".

Revlon Brow Fantasy in Dark Brown

This comes in 2 easy steps.  A defining pencil to fill in your brows and a brush with sheer tint gel to shape and set your brows!  I love how drugstore brands are "upping their game" with brow products!  You all know I recently attended a launch with L'Oreal and they also came in with brow products that seems to work even for professional Make Up Artists like me!

This definitely went straight to my "to review" box!  I am so excited to try this because just by the look of swatch at the back of my hand, it looks promising don't you think?

Top: Pencil, Bottom: Brow Mascara

Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art in Black Brilliance

I apologize but I almost put this inside my "nail polish" bin!  The packaging reminds me so much of Revlon Nail Art and Expressions nail lacquers!  The packaging of those polishes failed my expectation because it just can't close tight so most of my polish from those line are now dried up!

This, by the way, is an Eye Art Lid + Line + Lash Dual-ended Liquid Shadows.  Just by reading the packaging, I find it quite hard to digest on how to use this product so I'm glad BDJ peeps came up with instructions!  I'll show you soon when I do an in-depth review of this product.

What this does is that, the metallic cream portion (right photo) is meant to be applied all over the lid as a shadow.  The Darker matte eyeshadow on the other hand can also be used as a shadow applied on the outer corner of your lid or your lashline to create thicker-looking lashes or bigger-looking eyes!

Seems complicated!  But we'll see, I could be wrong!  What do you think?

Revlon by Marchesa Super Lustrous Lipstick
in Pink Cognito
Revlon teams up with fashion house Marchesa for limited collection lipstick and I'm glad I have this on hand! You know how it is when you have a box-ful of lipstick and you can always use this as an excuse to add more --- it's LIMITED EDITION! :P

So this is said to be highly moisturizing!  The shade looks extremely light and perfect for that nude lips effect!  I doubt it will cover the dark pigmentation on my lips but we'll see, a little concealer trick on lips will do!

Revlon Ultra Lip Lacquer in Smoky Topaz
The shade reminds me of a MAC Lipglass I own!  This is said to have Ultra HD shine so I'm excited to use this on top of the Lipstick in Pink Cognito!

Top: Revlon Lipstick Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Cognito
Right: Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer in Smoky Topaz

Revlon by Marchesa Core Nail Enamel
in Gray Suede
This is a perfect bridal 'tips'!  I like this shade and I get opaque color in just 1 swipe!  Take a look at my swatch below!

The only issue I have with most Revlon Nail Lacquers is that, they tend to turn my nails yellow!  I'm not sure if it's just me!  Let me know your thoughts if you experienced the same!

Overall, this box is THE BOMB!  I am so amazed by the products I got and all of them?  I haven't owned!  Considering I have so many Revlon products at home!

Great job BDJ Box!
