AMW Reviews: QuickFX CC Cream

I knew about the brand QuickFX last year when I was searching for "What's New" at Watsons.  You won't miss them because of the cute sachet packaging!  I find this to be a perfect "travel companion" because I could never carry full-sized skin care products when I travel.

I've read so many raves about No-Shine Mattifier and I don't mind testing out Pimple Eraser (surprisingly, I am having breakouts more often now than before!)

But what really gave got my attention really was their newest CC Cream!

It is also housed in the same packaging as the rest of its' siblings but I like how they are color coordinated!  You won't make a mistake about what's the content of the sachet because they are clearly written on the sachet!

QuickFX CC Cream says ---
QuickFX CC Cream has Sodium Hyaluronate, a natural, non-toxic ingredient.  It helps prevent aging by hydrating the skin and helping it attracts and retains moisture.  This ingredient easily penetrates the skin's surface, thus promoting nutrient absorption.

It also has Fruit Extracts, rich in antioxidants and anti-aging benefits, to promote skin elasticity.  There's also V-Peptide to boost firmness and brighten the skin.

AMW says ---
  • Affordable.
  • Comes in sachet so you can actually test if the product works for you or not without having to spend so much.
  • Can lessen redness around the face but not completely cover.
  • Gives instant "brightening effect" to your overall look.
  • No white cast.
  • Non-drying.
  • The product comes with skin-loving ingredients.
  • No allergic reactions so far.
  • Will actually work for most complexion, you just have to let it set.
  • May not have enough "concealing" properties.  (You may check photo below) and just very minimal correcting properties.

  • You have to be careful with replacing the cap back on because I had CC Cream explosion inside my bag!

A brightening and hydrating CC Cream with skin-loving ingredients that could benefit your skin.  I don't see much concealing and correcting properties though.

  • Do a patch test if you have sensitive skin.  I always try o the sides of my face below the ears down to my jawline and leave it for 10-15 minutes before I proceed applying all over my face.
  • Best applied with clean fingers and blend well.
  • CC cream is best applied after your skin care regimen.
  • If you have good skin, feel free to apply QuickFX CC cream and conceal only areas that needed coverage and set with powder.
  • Mix with your favorite Liquid Foundation if you dislike the super matte effect foundations give.
Will I repurchase?

To whom do I recommend this to?
Users with already good skin who likes the brightening effect.

Where to purchase and how much?
Available at Watsons priced at Ph89.00 (approx $2.00).

Twist the cap to open on first use then use the opposite side after every use.

Arm Swatch
It has a light green milk white color with a bit of a watery texture.

I like to apply a tiny amount of product concentrating at the center of my face where there's redness.

I like to let it sit for a couple of minutes before I proceed with foundation.  If you can compare the photo above and this one below, the redness on the sides of my nose was lessened.  I can lessen it more by applying more product but I prefer to proceed with my favorite concealer.

Before and After
There wasn't much concealing as you can still see some red spots and marks BUT, you can definitely see how much brighter and healthier my skin look on the "check mark" side.  The green tint is definitely doing its' job covering some of the redness making my face looks less sallow.

Have you tried any QuickFX products mentioned above?
How do you find the effect of QuickFX CC cream on me?
Will it be enough for you to run to the nearest Watsons store to purchase one?

Stay happy!

  1. Hi Ms Nikki. I've also tried Quick Fx, the No shine mattifier and the tinted moisturizer. I must say I wasn't satisfied at all with both. I wasn't much impressed with the mattifier since it seems to cake my powders, concealers and foundations when applied underneath. I was hoping for a better result with the tinted moisturizer which I plan to use on my daughters who frequently joins school activities instead of using foundations on them since they still have good skin. But the tinted moisturizer was way too pinkish for our skin and I couldn't make it work either.

    1. talaga? thanks for sharing your review! that is very valuable talaga considering I haven't use the Mattifier kasi! I heard kasi they are good!

    2. Siguro talagang oily lang skin ko kaya the mattifier didn't work. But I've found a solution to their tinted moisturizer that is too pinkish for our skin, I top it with yellow tone or beige powders to offset the too pinkish tone of the tinted moisturizer and it works. :)

  2. I swear by their pimple eraser it works on me without drying my skin!

    1. Talaga? I still can't get away from my trustee Body Shop Tea Tree Oil, magamit nga to on my next pimple! LOL

  3. Wow, your blog design has changed! Good thing you reminded me about the Quick FX Pimple Eraser. I'm also breaking out badly!

    1. Thanks for the compliment! let me know how the Quick FX pimple eraser works ha?

  4. If only my skin isn't too sensitive, I'll try these. Maybe I will! I want a tinted moisturizer stat.

    1. do a patch test first esp if you have sensitive skin

  5. Well, well, well....this is something worth checking out. Love the qualities and the packaging. So travel friendly.

    1. :) be careful lang to seal the cap tightly, nagkamali kasi ako kaya explosion sa bag ko! hahahah

I'd love to hear from you! Feel free to comment your questions, suggestions and just anything you may want to say! Keep smiling and stay happy!
