I Wonder: Do You Really Need a Lip Cleanser?

Is there even such product?  Well, my idea of cleansing my lips is by using a damp toothbrush OR if I have hard-to-remove lip makeup on, I'll use an oil-based make up remover or a makeup wipe to remove lipstick or lipstain.  Who would've thought there exist a product called a Lip Cleanser?  Yes darlings, it is from Bliss called Fabulips Foaming Lip Cleanser.

Based from research, the Bliss Fabulips treatment comes in a set.  The KIT includes a Foaming Lip Cleanser to lift impurities, Sugar Lip Scrub to gently exfoliate, Instant Lip Plumper to visibly volumize and Softening Lip Balm to soften and moisturize.

I got this product from a recent event I attended and this was included as part of the Thank You KIT, this intrigued me so much I tested it right away and was inspired to create this post because I want to know if you guys think we need a Lip Cleanser in our life!   I'll share my thoughts later!

The Lip Cleanser (Thankfully) comes in a pump packaging so I don't need to dip my hands to grab the product.  As for my lips, 1 pump is enough for both upper and lower lip!

The texture of Bliss Fabulips Foaming Lip Cleanser looks exactly like a regular hand wash cream you purchase at local drugstore.  It has a nice sweet scent that you won't mind leaving on your lips!  Nothing yucky!

 Grabbing a bit of the "thick" gel-like cream and gently dab then massage onto your lips.  As you can see on the second photo below, it starts to bubble up and you may add a second or third layer but 1 layer is enough for me as the product begins to foam up like I ingested poison!  Hahaha

This is such a fun product in trying to scare people in your home!  With a bit of my super acting skills, I was able to pull off holding my chest and leg shouting: "HELP!  I think...it's something I ate!"  hahaha

Craziness aside, you will feel a bit of a ticklish sensation and you may feel free to wipe away with a dry tissue and voila!  You're done! 

I may not have the KIT but I am loving the effect of how Bliss Fabulips Lip Cleanser makes my lips appear extremely clean!  It doesn't hydrate my lips because you are supposed to follow up with a lip treatment to hydrate the lips after cleansing!  SO imagine this --- facial cleanser = Lip Cleanser, facial moisturizer= lip balm/lip treatment.

I can personally feel how clean my lips feel (never felt this clean in my entire life) after using the Bliss Fabulips Lip Cleanser!  I do this at least thrice a week or whenever I feel there are some lip stick stains from constant lipstick application!  I am indeed a changed woman!  Having a lip cleanser is indeed useful and very important because it does not only remove makeup, it removes oil, grease and food particles!  I wish more companies will come up with such product!
