As much as we all want our Instagram-worthy brows to stay that way forever, that won't happen because we are mortals!  Our brows grow and look crazy from time to time!  Just like mine!

With my busy schedule, brow shaping (threading, brow wax) will always be scheduled and there will definitely be days I want to hide my brows under my bangs because they are just too messy and...errr...ugly!  Today (well not today!  My brows are super nice now but the day I took this photo!)  is the perfect time for me to show you how I would normally "draw" or "fix" my brows and wait for the countdown until my next brow session!  Surprisingly, the more "unfixed" my brows are, the least brow products I use!  I just don't feel like piling on brow products when they aren't in shape!

I Wonder: Do You Really Need a Lip Cleanser?

Is there even such product?  Well, my idea of cleansing my lips is by using a damp toothbrush OR if I have hard-to-remove lip makeup on, I'll use an oil-based make up remover or a makeup wipe to remove lipstick or lipstain.  Who would've thought there exist a product called a Lip Cleanser?  Yes darlings, it is from Bliss called Fabulips Foaming Lip Cleanser.

Based from research, the Bliss Fabulips treatment comes in a set.  The KIT includes a Foaming Lip Cleanser to lift impurities, Sugar Lip Scrub to gently exfoliate, Instant Lip Plumper to visibly volumize and Softening Lip Balm to soften and moisturize.

ColourPop Cosmetics (especially their Ultra Matte Lip products) are the ultimate "It" thing if you follow Beauty Gurus on Youtube and Instagram!  Everyone's posting their loot and I can't help but wanted at least ONE of them even if I currently own gazillion of lip products!  And as much as I am proud to say I'm the type who has really strong will power, well, look....

Why Calyxta, why do you have to sell these?  You know what they say?  You learn more, you spend more!  hahaha  I learned so much about the various brand offerings they have when I attended their First Year Anniversary last December.   So I went home, browsed their online site, and told myself: "It is Christmas season, I deserve this!"

And got 2 shades of ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in shades Bumble and Tulle!
Thankfully, the site currently sells limited shades so I don't have an excuse to hoard!

Lipstick of the Day: OFRA Lipstick and Calyxta Turns 1

Happy Mid-Week AMW Friends!  If you've seen major change on my Blog, well, I am definitely going for a MAJOR change for the year 2016!  I'm nearing my Blog Anniversary and I guess, I'm ready to bid goodbye to my dark blue background and hello white!  For now, it's not perfect yet (I'm sure it'll never be), but I'm definitely taking my time tweaking everything for you to have a wonderful experience whenever you visit my Blog!  Share on comment box below if you like the change okay?  Please be nice to me! :D

Now back to my post!  I cannot skip the week without sharing my lippie find --- whether it is a lipstick, a lip balm, lip tint, liquid lipstick or a gloss, I just had to share how lipstick can change the way I look in an instant!  That's why a girl can never have too many lipsticks!  AGREE?  *high five*

I talked about my love for OFRA Long Lasting Lipsticks I almost didn't bother to check out their lipsticks!  Because you know how it is about lip products nowadays, the more pigmented they are, the better!  And my first 2 OFRA lipsticks were okay but not WOW for it to stay on top of my dresser.

Thankfully, the makeup Gods work in mysterious way!  One time, I was so in a hurry I forgot to bring any lipstick!  I found a lipstick inside the car and it was a good accident!  This lippie must've made its way to the seat when my bag almost fell from the seat!  

So I wore this lipstick to an event and realized, how nice the shade 109 is for daily wear!

Ofra 109 is also called TOFFEE.  The color fits MLBB (My Lips But Better) definition for users with highly pigmented lips like I do!  It has a satin finish thus it would work even for users with extremely dry lips!  

As to recommendation from OFRA cosmetics to top their lipsticks with a similarly shade Liquid Lipstick?  I prefer not to because I'm liking the result!

AMW Wears: Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks in Mocha and Santa Ana

Today marks our 19th year anniversary as Boyfriend and Girlfriend --- yihhee Mr. AMW :P  You love meeeee! :P

So I've decided to share my thoughts on 2 lip colors that he used to asked me not to use!  Yes, he was the young boy who said: "You look way better without any make up on!"  Fast forward to today, let me tell you, he is the most supportive boyfriend/husband ever!  He understands the difference between a serum, a moisturizer a primer and different types of foundations!  All because he wanted to speak and understand my language..and he achieved it with flying colors!

So back to the topic of the 2 lip colors he asked me to shy away from --- browns and reds, would you believe he was the first to say: "You look great in that lip color?"  I believe, there is no right or wrong in wearing the perfect shade of lipsticks, all you need is to pick the shade that makes you feel good and wear not only the lipstick but the confidence in you! 

I highly recommend trying out Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks!  Aside from the wide variety of shades to choose from, they are highly pigmented and non-drying!  If I say non-drying on my current lip condition, this is definitely a lip product that is extremely hydrating to users with normal lips!

AMW Reports: Calyxta Beauty 101

I got an intimate invite recently from Calyxta for Calyxta Beauty 101/ Calyxta Loves OFRA event.  It was a first for me to meet the people behind Calyxta and I made sure to prepare for it!

The event was held at The Chambre de Saint Germain, Bizu, One Rockwell and we were asked to come in our casual soft silhouette ensemble and this was my version.
