Weekend Food Trip at Relish at Ponte

So Relish is an "It" place whenever I meet my Smart Telecom family.  That is the Makati branch and I can see they are often full!  Reservations will always be a MUST.  But truthfully, I can never really appreciate the food when I eat in a restaurant for a meeting!  Well, I guess you are so busy talking about something else you can't seem to really appreciate the food.

So when my high school friends wanted to meet up and it was at the same restaurant Relish at Ponte but at the Scout Limbaga branch, would you believe it when I say, it felt like a "First-time-Relish" dining experience?

Amazing Artichoke Dip with Pita and Tostitos
Php300.00
A must when you want an appetizer!  You don't taste the "fishy" artichoke instead, you get the right amount of cream and cheese that explodes in your mouth on every bite.

Slow Roasted Grilled Beef Belly with Gravy
Php550.00

Another favorite! I'm so happy I get to eat this because the beef belly is indeed very tender and almost melts in your mouth on each bite!

Hickory Smoked Pork Belly Barbecue
Php390.00
We ordered this for Kyle even though at the back of our head, we thought it may be the normal Barbecue we have in other restaurants!  Mind you, this is one of the best pork barbecue I've tried in town!  It comes with a special smoked Hickory BBQ sauce and the pork belly is very tender and super flavorful!  If you are a fan of anything barbecued, you have to give this a try!  This will change your idea of what a good barbecue tastes like.

Overall, I've got nothing but great experience dining at Relish!  Both Makati and Quezon City branches.  The only downside is that, the place is always packed so reservations will always be needed.  And of course, because the place is packed, service at times could be a bit slow so you have to be patient!  Make sure you are not extremely hungry when you dine in this restaurant.

What's your favorite Relish dish?
Any other food suggestions for me and my family to try?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

  1. The slow roasted grilled beef belly looks yum. I wish they have a branch in the South.
