Creme Brulee
Is a gorgeous nude colored lip gloss!  As much as I wanted to create MLBB shade using lipsticks, they sometimes turn out dry after a few hours so topping this is a great way to create soft and supple-looking lips.

Creme Brulee would work well on fair, medium and dark complexion users.

Merengue
A cool-tone light pink shade.  As much as I said the NYX Butter Gloss works well on dry lips, this shade is a bit tricky to work with as it may enhance lip dryness if not applied properly.  It is best to exfoliate lips as the effect is high-shine giving the lips the fuller-dimension we can imagine!

I can imagine Merengue shade to work better on users with medium to darker complexion.  Fair skinned gals may still use this but has to be careful with the rest of the makeup used on the face!  The less makeup, the better!

  1. Gone were the days we have to pre-order this babies thru online resellers :D I have this before and the color is beautiful but, I'm sick of reapplication and making sure that my hair doesn't get near my lips or else it will make straight line smears across my face lol!

  2. I don't like both shades. Maybe I have lighting issues but you have worn better shades in the past. that's just me though. maybe the effect is better in person.

    1. well truth be told, I haven't worn gloss for ..year? hahahaha so I guess pareho tayo would go for lipsticks or lip creams instead of glosses :D I agree with you, it has this effect na you think its lighting pero in person ganyan pa din :D

    2. In fairness I looked at the pics again while in the bedroom (mine has lights as bright as surgical lights) and they look a lot better, even pretty. S

  3. Yep lighting can make a difference. I have worn hippies in the past Na okay so interior lights then when I step out and catch a car mirror I stop dead in my tracks and think what on earth am I thinking going out with a lip color like this or that. Looks like these two shades are complexion selective. I am pretty fair skinned but I won't be caught dead wearing those colors. They are hard to pull off.
