Do you understand my woe when you have to always go through your "eye pencil stash" to look for your liquid liner and pencil liner? Well, Pink Sugar finally understood my "mini-woe" and created a Duo Eyeliner called --- Honey, I'm Good Duo Eyeliner!
It comes in 4 shades ---
- Black Pencil and Black Liquid Eyeliner
- Brown Pencil with Brown Liquid Eyeliner
- Blue Pencil with Black Liquid Eyeliner
- White Pencil with Black Liquid Eyeliner
I got to review my favorite day-time shade --- Brown Pencil with Brown Liquid Liner.
You get a retractable pencil on one side and a liquid liner (with sharp felt tip) on the other side.
Let me share to you my thoughts on the liquid liner side first.
AMW says ---
- It comes with a firm applicator making it super easy to use even for first-time wearers.
- Pigmentation is good, one swipe you get a good deep brown shade.
- Easy to create winged liner look.
- Brown liner shade is perfect for daily use! It has an "oomph" of a black liner but very subtle in effect.
- Staying powder is okay. Lasts for around 4-5 hours.
- Does not smudge or smear BUT has the tendency to disappear especially if you have very oily lids.
Now on to the Pencil Side...
AMW Says ---
- Super easy to use.
- Can be used for tightline, can be applied on waterline.
- Creamy consistency, does not tug the lid during application.
- Can be smudged for a simple smoky eye makeup look.
- Once set, it does set well BUT has the tendency to smudge in our humid weather.
As for application, I prefer NOT to tightline because it has the tendency to smudge on me. So I like to gently apply the Liquid Liner very close to my upper lashline. Using the pencil side, I apply a good amount on the lower lashline (instead of waterline) and gently smoke out using a similar eyeshadow shade to "set" the pencil.
Before and After
Very natural, subtle eye look using Pink Sugar Honey, I'm Good Duo Eyeliner in Brown/Brown.
Have you tried this duo liner?

I have very oily lids so this probably will not be the best product for me. I love how it looks on you, though!

DeleteI'm a fan of brown or dark brown pensil liner because it's waay softer and natural looking. Though may I ask does it glide smoothly?
