Pork Salpicao Recipe (Version 2)

Last year, I shared my Pork Salpicao recipe and who would've thought there will always be another version?  After more than a year of trial and error, well, it's not like I was concentrating on improving the taste!  But after trial and error, I finally created a better Pork Salpicao Recipe and I'm sharing it to you!

Pork Salpicao with marinade

Ingredients:
  • Pork tenderloin chopped in cubes.
  • Chopped garlic
  • Butter
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Liquid Seasoning
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Brown Sugar
As you can see, I've added some ingredients!  And what's the best kept secret?  Marinate the pork cubes at least an hour or 2 before you cook it!

What's included in the marinade? Oyster Sauce, Worcestershire sauce....

Chopped garlic

and 1/2 teaspoon Brown Sugar!  Adding brown sugar makes a huge difference in my pork salpicao recipe!

Now let's start cooking!  Aside from the chopped garlic mixed with the pork, I like my Pork Salpicao with a lot of garlic slices!  Crunchy ones!  So I fry sliced garlic with butter.  Smells great at this point!

Set aside crunchy garlic, using the same oil, pour your pork with the marinade and slowly cook the pork in low fire!

Once the pork are well-cooked, add butter and turn off heat!  Pour the cooked Pork Salpicao on a serving plate and top with crunchy garlic!

Serve with HOT steaming rice!

Happy Eating!
I'd love to hear your version of Pork Salpicao!

Keep smilin'

  1. I tried your recipe for dinner yesterday. I added a little left over soy garlic sauce and lemon juice on my marinade and took your advice and loaded up on the garlic. It was yummy. :)
