...the end result is precise!
I'm talking about the newest Liquid Liner from Max Factor X called the Masterpiece High Precision Liquid Liner. This liner isn't the usual liner you've imagined! This is unique because of...
The paddle-shaped tip that is rounded (not pointy).
L-R Front and side view of the unique paddle-tip. This product is said to give the intensity of a liquid liner with the precision of a pencil. Note: The tip isn't soft though, it literally felt like plastic paddle so I'm sharing my complete thoughts and how much I dislike/like using this!According to Max Factor X ---
The intense black, velvet formula glides on smoothly and dries quickly for chic sophistication or bold drama. The paddle-shaped tip gives you two glamorous looks in one: thick and dramatic, or fine and elegant, so you can dial up the drama to suit your look.
- Switch from thick line to thin line in a flash
- Intensity of a liquid eyeliner with the precision of a pencil
- Two looks from one versatile and easy to use paddle tip

Velvet Black
Top: Using the tip in application
Bottom: Using the wide paddle side
According to Max Factor, this gives you a pencil-like application but I have to say it doesn't work that way. For someone with extremely steady-hands and has been wearing eyeliner for years, I kind struggled the first week I've tried this liner!
The application isn't as easy or smooth because it does hurt the eye a bit due to its' hard plastic tip. And because it isn't soft, the application is a bit rugged on first try so I almost raised a white flag surrendering this to the eyeliner devils.
After several tries (because this girl doesn't give up), I found that using the sharp tip in applying at the center of the lid first and gently flip the tip to the wider side for that thick flick. OR, you may use the tip to apply the "outline" and use the flat paddle in filling in the liner.
The reason why I don't give up with this liner amidst the difficult applicator? This has got to be the most intense, black, and pretty liner I've tried considering I've always been a fan of liquid liners! This gives an effect regular brush can't give! I don't know about you but even Mr. AMW (my photographer) gave a loud "wow" after taking this shot.
The effect is just smooth (swabe). Another good thing? The liquid liner stays without smudging or smearing even when I perspire or rub my eyes. The worst that could possibly happen is for it to fade a bit but re-application is welcomed because the effect will look the same (just like the first time you applied...no humps and bumps!)
I'm not sure if the effect looks gorgeous as this because of the unique applicator, but if Max Factor can create the same effect using a regular liquid liner brush? I am SOLD!
