I've chanced upon Essence Liquid Ink Waterproof liner when I was roaming around SM Makati Beauty Section looking for "new products" to watch out for. This nifty product caught my attention because after looking at the tester, this reminded me so much of the discontinued Benefit Liquid Liner.
So based from performance, I call this the inexpensive dupe of the said product.
Essence Liquid Ink Waterproof Liner

This is the must-have eyeliner! the liquid ink eyeliner waterproof with the special fine tip applicator makes applying an accurate, black line as easy as child's play for gorgeous eyes.

As much as I got spoiled with the easy-to-use pen-type liquid liners, there will come a time I feel a brush type of liquid liner is still the best bet especially if I'm aiming for heavy pigmentation and maybe, line that extra liner on top of your falsies!
Judging by the look of the brush, it looks a tad bit difficult to use due to its' flat tip. But don't get fooled by this because I can still create a sharp winged liner with this brush!
Here's what I have to say after using this particular brand/product for more than a month ---
- Waterproof. The eyeliner stays!
- The tiny little brush applicator is easy to use. Easy to create thin or thick lines.
- The pigmentation of the liquid eyeliner is really good.
- Long-lasting, stays the whole day until makeup removal.
- Incredibly priced!
Now, I did say this nifty product is easy to use, just because I've been a liquid liner wearer and user for years! If you are a first-time makeup wearer and first time to hold a liquid liner, Please take time in applying this! You may flip around the brush using ONLY the tip on some areas and use the "side" of the brush on larger areas! I like to start by applying very close to the lashline at first and thicken as needed.
The difference between this and gel liners, pencil liners is that the effect is darker, glossier which translates to a more defined and dramatic eyes!
I will definitely repurchase this given the chance (if I finished up all my liners to date!) But will definitely recommend this to liquid liner users!
