Who uses eyeshadow bases or primers?
I'm lucky to be one of those who have dry eyelid so I don't mind using eyeshadows alone and they lasts usually until removal! Now, the negative side on having dry lids is the fact that it could be a bit difficult to blend eyeshadows at times, yes, hello dry lids! I need a bit of oil to make my shadows blend smoothly you know!
So, I finally went for "Eyeshadow Bases", okay, I personally think consumers mistake eyeshadow base with primers! In my humble opinion, I believe there could be a bit of difference between the two!
Eyeshadow primers at times are meant to be used not only to enhance to vibrancy of the eyeshadows, it also has oil-control properties to help prevent eyeshadow from creasing. As for Eyeshadow bases, they have similar properties on helping eyeshadows appear more vibrant, more blendable but some of them lacks the ability to prevent creasing.
And that enough said, I would call the
Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base to be just the base minus the oil-control. That's based from months of testing....
