Maybelline Fit Me! concealer Review

I've been reading so many positive reviews about Maybelline Age Rewind and FIT Me concealer.  Since I still haven't gotten the chance to try Age Rewind, I am still happy enough to be able to try FIT me! I'm actually extremely thankful I get to try this because....this is surprisingly GOOD!

The FIT Me! concealer is housed in my "most favorite concealer packaging --- the lipgloss-type tube with a doe-foot applicator!  For me, the best concealer applicator will always be the doe-foot applicator!

AMW says ---

Pros

  • Packaging.
  • Fragrance-free.
  • Pigmentation is pretty good.
  • Medium to heavy coverage.
  • A little goes a super long way!
  • Price.
  • Blends easily.
  • Long-lasting.
  • No oils or waxes so product won't slide off midday.

Cons

  • Because of the thick consistency, may settle into fine lines or creases midday.

Overall
A medium to medium heavy coverage concealer that gives out natural results!  Stays almost the whole day if set properly.

Tips

  • Hydrate the undereye area before using this concealer to prevent creasing.
  • Start by dabbing a small amount and add more layer as needed.
  • Best to try out testers to get the right shade.
  • Dabbing motion is the best way to apply for more coverage.
  • If you have extremely dark undereye circles, best to use a corrector first before using the Maybelline Fit Me concealer.  This concealer tends to "brighten" the area so may not be a great idea if you have dark undereye circles.
  • Always set with a translucent powder or setting powder to prevent product from budging.

Will I repurchase?
Yes.

To whom do I recommend this to?
All skin types.  Maybelline Fit Me Concealer Sand is perfect for NC20-25 MAC users.

Where to purchase and how much?
At local Maybelline counters priced at Php299.00 each.

As for application, feel free to create 4-5 dots on the undereye area, blend well before you apply 2nd layer!  Because I have extremely dark undereye circles, I tend to apply more.

Instead of using fingers, I like to blend concealer using a flat concealer brush.
Dabbing motion is the key for more coverage.  If you want to lessen coverage, use a damp sponge.

Before and After
Sand has more "cool tone" to it so in person, I can still see my dark circles getting "highlighted".  My tip is to pick a warmer concealer to "correct" the circles around the eyes.  I also like to correct the area first with a salmon shade concealer before using the Maybelline Fit Me! concealer in Sand.
