Initial Thoughts: Eres Tu Sunscreen and BB Creams

I have been trying out so many products ever since I started Blogging and I can't imagine a decade after, I don't think I'm taking a break anytime soon.  There are just so many brands coming in our shores and I couldn't be happier for YOU because you finally have more choices within reach (Watsons reach level lang) unlike my time when I had to do all the trial and error method shopping at Ebay! 

As I do my weekly "shopping" for both family needs and MY beauty needs at Watsons, an unfamiliar brand popped right in front of me called ERES TU.  As I was waiting for some free time to Google-A-Friend on what this brand is about, my generous friends from Spark It! gifted me these!  

Hello Sunshine to me indeed!

Eres Tu is a brand from Korea which specializes in sunscreen and skincare products with anti-aging benefits (Holler Peptide and other active ingredients!).  If you follow me on #AMWIGStories , you'll see that I already jumpstarted getting myself acquainted with the brand by trying out the Sun Perfect UV Ray Protection SPF50+ PA+++ sunscreen.

But of course, the brand offers more!  They've included BB Creams --- Multi BB Cream and Peptide Special BB Cream.

Eres Tu Multi BB Cream Reborn
Beta Glucan Cream

• Rich in Beta Glucan that restores skin vitality
• Micro-fine mineral powder that perfectly evens out skin surface, color, tone, and instantly conceals open pores to a smooth finish.

I believe this BB Cream comes in ONE shade but if applied sparingly, it actually melts and blends into skin pretty well.  I find this product to look a bit grayish on me so all I need to do is to adjust with the right powder foundation beneath.

It has light to medium coverage that can actually conceal redness and lessen undereye darkness.

Eres Tu BB Peptide Special (Php799.00)

• With Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 Works like *Botox to eliminate signs of aging
  Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 causes reduction of Fine Lines, Crows Feet, Smie Lines and Sun damaged Wrinkles upon continued use is similar to Botox (reference only for desired effect), but does not provide instant muscular relaxation as botox.
• High in Beta Glucan for Skin Vitality
• Lightweight and non-greasy
• Instantly covers blemishes and skin imperfections
• Sun Protection from both UVA/UVB rays
• No make-up look, best as make-up base
• Hyaluronic Acid for moisturized radiant looking skin

Also has the same shade as the Multi BB Cream but I like this better in terms of hydration.  Skin felt smoother, plumper after first use and so far, no allergic reactions or skin irritations encountered while using this!  It also gives light to medium coverage which can hide certain redness and undereye darkness, I like that it has a bit of a "healthy-looking glow" after just a thin layer.

Both BB Creams I've used only 2-3 times max so please bear with me as these are all initial thoughts based from skin reactions and my thoughts on the feel and texture of the product.  If you ask me, my skin is leaning towards to the Peptide BB Cream.

Eres Tu Sun Perfect UV Ray Protection SPF50+ PA+++ (Php599.00)

• High dosage of Beta Glucan to boost moisture and skin elasticity
• Skin whitening
• Non-sticky, greaseless, and non-tacky feel
• Above 50 SPF value for outdoor and water sports
• Very good (PA+++) protection capability for UVA which helps prevent tanning and photo aging
• Perfect as make-up base
• Light weight, almost invisible
• Water-proof formula, lasts 6 to 12 hours
• Product can last up to 6 hours when exposed to water activities or profuse sweating due to prolonged sun exposure, 12 hours intermittent sun exposure without water or sweat.

I actually used this Face Sunscreen for 5 days straight and I can tell you more about my experience with this.

• Non-greasy but has this feeling of "film" texture in first 5 minutes upon application.
• Creates white cast with direct flash due to high SPF content.
• Indeed creates a nice makeup base as my skin is hydrated and texture is more even so base makeup applies like a breeze.
• First day of usage, I had a pimple that popped on my chin, this is the ONLY new product I injected in my routine but after 2nd and 3rd day, no more pimple-sightings!   I guess it took a bit of time for my skin to adjust to a  new sunscreen.
• No allergic reactions or skin irritations (except that one pimple).
• I haven't tried this particular sunscreen under harsh sun condition but so far, my face did not darken.

Overall, Eres Tu is a promising brand and I can't wait to keep on using the rest of the products.  Eres Tu products are available at Watsons!
