Solique X Agoo Collection Launch

I've been Blogging about Beauty for almost a decade now so I definitely have a couple of "Local Beauty Icons" I look up to! One of them is none other than Ms. Agoo Bengzon.

I've seen Agoo in several events I've attended but never gotten the chance to talk to her because she's always surrounded by people. She is a former beauty editor and is a beauty industry vet. So whenever I see her, I just appreciate her elegance, her fashion and her gorgeous digits! (Seriously, she's got one of the best looking hands!)

So it wasn't a surprise for me when a good friend, owner of Girlstuff and Solique Gel Polish Ms. Janina Gutierrez-Tan told me about the Solique x Agoo collaboration.

It took a while, I was a bit impatient (ako pa talaga!) but it was because I was too excited to know what the Beauty Guru has in store for us and guess what? The wait is definitely WORTH it!

That's me with Ms. Agoo Bengzon, one of the most humble "It Girl" I know! Seriously, I enjoy talking to her because this girl does not only exude grace and beauty, she definitely has the love and passion for everything she does which makes her such an inspiration to everyone!

Let's talk about the 3 shades included in the collection!

There's Smitten. This is a magenta shade that is so unique that I learned it took a while to produce because of the "vibrance" Agoo is aiming for. I was told by Janina that to easily achieve the vibrance, the manufacturers would have to use a chemical that isn't legal for use (in France). To finally create this shade, there where able to find ingredients that adhered to the strict safety standards in France and finally... we have this!

AMW Wore Smitten

I have been a long-time Solique Gel Polish user and I could tell the formulation of these polishes definitely improved!

Smitten is a shade I would call..."good vibes" shade! It makes me smile whenever I look at my nails!

And of course, I have to look around the Nail Spa for other shades and I chanced upon Agoo wearing
Posse. Posse is a dark blue shade which is a "Little Dark Blue" dress for the nails! I love how it makes anyone's hands looking so chic and gorgeous in an instant!

And just when you thought nail polish are only for long fingernails? I'm here to correct you! This is my good friend Trixie Esguerra's nails wearing Cloud. Cloud is a gorgeous Mauve shade that is almost like a super light lavender! If you are aiming for nude colored nail polish? This is the new nude for you!
