A Concealer For the Dry Undereye Area

There are days when you wake up and look into the mirror and wished you have an "eraser" to erase all your skin troubles away?

I felt that the most for the past 2 weeks especially since I got really sick.  I've been taking medications and my skin is acting up.  Face literally peeling from dryness and as much as I hav my favorite concealers on-hand, some of them just enhance the dryness even more!

Good thing I remembered I own Benefit's Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer and I immediately used it for the full 2 weeks and it has been wonderful to me.

Inside, you have a cute twist-up packaging housed in a Benefit Pink Case.

Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer reminds me so much of Fake Up but I love the packaging of this one better.  It comes in 3 shades --- 01 Light, 02 Light Medium and 03 Medium.

 

I picked the middle shade, Light Medium which is 02.

Pros

• Packaging.
• Easy-to-use.  Can be used even midday for touch-ups.
• Hydrating enough it does not settle into lines and skin dryness.
• Does not look cakey or fake. 
• Works so well even on my dry, peeling skin.  It helps keep the area hydrated giving certain amount of coverage.
• Keep the area hydrated and bright!
• Can be used as retouch, it works even on top of powder because it keeps the area hydrated.

Cons

• If you have oily skin, the concealer may slide or disappear midday if  not set properly.
• Light coverage.  Not for users who have troublesome skin condition.

Overall

A light coverage concealer that gives instant hydration.

Tips

• Best used for users with dry or normal skin.
• I personally like to use this concealer on undereye area as it hydrates the said area.
• This is also a perfect concealer for "dried out" pimple marks because it does not enhance the dry, flaky skin.
• For better coverage, mix the Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer with your other higher coverage concealer.
• Best used with fingers for better coverage with patting motion.

Will I repurchase?
Yes.  I use this on clients who have dry skin too.

To whom do I recommend this to?
Users with dry skin.  Also works for a "retouch" concealer.

The Concealer comes with a concealer at the center then the moisturizing part on the outside.

Swatch: 02 Shade

The shade has a bit of yellow undertone to it making this a nice brightening product too.

As for application, I like to directly apply the concealer from tube to the "preferred area" and pat with clean fingers.  Never forget to "set" with a light translucent powder.  If you have extremely dry skin, feel free not to set but you prepare for the concealer to disappear or slide midday.

Lines are less obvious and the area is brightened.
