Etude House Sunprise Mild Watery Light SPF Review

Ever since Kyle started Preschool, I have been using sunscreens so quickly it's almost like changing shampoo every now and then!  Now I understand why sunscreens have short lifespan because you are supposed to use it daily and you are supposed to apply a good amount and you will definitely use it up in no time!

There are various brands that I've been trying right now, one is from Etude House because I like it that they have cute packaging, they have several options to suit the needs of your skin and I like it that I can choose "Mild" because I always have a clingy son right beside me, so I wanted something light and mild.

Etude House Sunprise Mild Watery Light Says ---
A moisturizing UV gel with a lecithin and skin-freindly liquid formula that lightly glides a thin layer onto skin with a clean finish.

AMW says ---

Pros
  • Packaging.
  • Light and extremely fresh after application.
  • Gel type so it's non-sticky.
  • Gets absorbed into skin in no time so perfect for days I'm in a rush.
  • Contains hyaluronic acid so this hydrates my dry skin.
  • Creates a smooth base so base makeup applies smoothly.
  • No white cast
  • No allergic reactions.

Cons

  • I can finish this whole tube in less than a month!  I wish they come in bigger size.
  • Oily skin issues may find this a bit too hydrating for their skin.  (Please read tips below on how to deal with this)

Overall
A very mild, lightweight gel-type sunblock that works!

Tips

  • They have so many variants, pick the one that would suit your skin
  • Since I wanted something safe enough for kids, Etude House came up with Sunprise Mom and Kids.
  • Check with your Etude House SA the specific variant that would work for you based from your current skin condition.
  • Best applied before makeup, after skincare.  Let it sit for a couple of minute before you proceed with your makeup to prevent makeup from sliding off.

Will I repurchase?
YES!

To whom do I recommend this to?
Daily sunscreen wearers.  This is so mild and comfortable even in our humid weather.

Where to purchase and how much?
Available in all Etude House stores priced at Php498.00 (approx $10.00).

After application
Skin feels smooth and stays hydrated for more than half a day!

Did you know that?
Re-application is needed especially if you are staying under the sun for prolong period of time?  How to re-apply?  Purchase "spray" version (Etude House also has that) or if you want to use the same product, gently blend product on your hand and pat on your face and set with translucent powder if needed.
