Over the course of 4 months, I was able to finish up 4 tubes of face sunblock because for the first 3 months, I literally wait outside Kyle's school under the sun so I apply sunblock more than usual due to prolong exposure to the harmful UV rays.
One product that really made it to the cut in terms of "feel", texture, comfort is the Esfolio SPF 50+ PA+++ (Php549.00) .
It doesn't hurt that the packaging is so pretty and unique! Sits prettily at my dresser table.
The reason why the packaging is shaped like a leaf because one of the main ingredient of this product is Aloe Barbadensis Leaf.
Effectively moisturizes, conditions, and soothes skin with aloe barbadensis leaf extract; helps fight free radical damage with camellia sinensis leaf extract; boosts elasticity with hydrolyzed collagen; tones and purifies with witch hazel leaf extract; nourishes with matricaria extract and tocopheryl acetate; provides broad spectrum protection against UV rays with SPF 50+ PA+++

Love that I can control the right amount of product to be dispensed because of the tip.
But, it may take a bit of energy to tap the container when you're nearing the "finish line".
Swatch
This product has cream texture but once blended, it has this super lightweight, almost gel-like feel. The color is pure white but thankfully, it does not create obvious white cast and the color does not stay on face like that.
As for application, I like to apply a dallop on half part of my face and another dallop (around Php25 cents) to make sure my whole face and next are well-protected.
Before and After
as you can see, you don't see an obvious "mask" or white cast.
After finishing up a tube, here's what I have to say ---
- Has a very slight scent that is relaxing to the senses.
- Lightweight texture. Takes a bit of time to blend well but afterwards, it gets absorbed into the skin and no-greasy feel!
- No white cast.
- Effective in keeping me safe under the sun. No redness even after 3 hours.
- No breakouts.
- Hydrates my skin at the same time due to the presence of Aloe extract.
Overall, I love this product, the feel is almost like that of the Japanese sunblock counterparts I've tried! It does not clog the pores too!
What Sunblock have you been using nowadays?
Any other brands you want me to review?
Keep smilin'
Stay happy!
I've been using solstice though it has white cast.
