Mesoestetic Energy C Eye Contour Energising Eye Cream Review

I have always been an "ambassador" for eye treatment products.  When I look at my very old blog photos (year 2008 or 2009) and compare it with my current close-up eye shots, I can proudly say the lines around my eyes are even lesser than almost a decade ago!  That's because I have always been consistent in using eye products (well, not SUPER consistent as there are days I just can't!) but I make it a point to really take time to massage eye products on my eye area because that's really were most signs of aging are most prominent.

I recently got to try a new brand and product called Mesoestetic Energy C Eye Contour.  I actually gave this one a try immediately after receiving the said product and so far, it's been a month now and I'm ready to share my thoughts.

Please note that most eye products take longer time to see the results because the area is small as compared to the rest of the face.  What I will be sharing here are my initial thoughts on using the said product.

15ml product housed in a metallic rose gold finish pump packaging with a "stopper".  Feel free to keep the stopper or throw it away after first use.

Mesoestetic Energy C Eye Contour Says ---

Its high vitamin C concentration exerts a cumulative action against eye rings that gradually removes the signs of tiredness. The existence of plant tensors, collagen synthesis stimulants and restoring elastic fibre’s provides moisturising and tonicity, counteracting the appearance of the first wrinkles in the eye contour.

AMW says ---

Pros
  • Packaging
  • Liquid consistency "cream" that makes it easy to work with.
  • Has a very slight scent that goes away.
  • Spreads easily on the eye area.
  • Gets absorbed into the eye area for approximately a minute or two. (not completely, kindly read Con below)
  • The skin around the eye area feels tight even on first use or once product is "dry" on the exterior.
  • Has a relaxing sensation on every use.
  • I find this a good "undereye" base before concealer application.

Cons

  • Even after several hours, there is a slight "film" that you know there is a product left on the area.  It isn't greasy but some may find this uncomfortable.

Overall
A very easy-to-use packaged eye product even I find it easy to work with both day and night.  Easy-to-apply and the texture makes it very easy to work with especially if the user has extremely dry eye area.  If user have normal/oily skin, the product will tend to leave a slight "film" which doesn't bother me but may bother some.

Tips

  • Apply 3 dots on inner corner of the eyes, under the eyes and on the sides where most wrinkles occur.
  • Gently dab quickly using clean fingers and keep on doing so until product gets absorbed into the skin.
  • If you apply this in the morning before makeup application, it is best to let it sit for a couple of minutes before you apply your concealer or foundation to prevent the makeup from caking.
  • This eye cream can also be used to mix on your favorite liquid eye concealer, I did it on an older client and it works!  It fill sin some dry spots at the same time, create smoother consistency for the concealer to work quickly.
  • The brand also has other skincare products like Energy C Intensive Cream and Antioxidant Intensive Treatment to complete the Energy C experience.

Will I repurchase?
Yes.

To whom do I recommend this to?
Everyone who likes to improve the skin around the eye area.

Where to purchase and how much?
The Energy C eye cream is available at accredited clinics nationwide, you may ask more details through their FB and IG Accounts (links below).  Price starts around Php3,600++.

Easy-to-use pump packaging.  The only downside is that you won't know when you are hitting the bottom!

Product swatch.  A little goes a long way so one pump is enough for both eye areas to start with.

Overall, I am happy using the said product, still using this on a daily basis and so far, no allergic reactions and I love the "tightening" feel I get on each use.

Have you heard about this brand?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

  2. I have issues regarding my dark circles and saggy skin under my eyes. I know that it is because I lack of sleep everyday. Ofcourse I have goals to achieve. And if having this kind of issues are the price I have to pay in order to become a lisenced electrical engineer by 2018, yes I am willing to sleep less. That is why reading this blog from one of my favorite bloggers, YOU, gave me hope to lessen my worries! Thank you po!!!! Sending all my love and support all the way!!!!
