Dear AMW friends, today, I am heading back to Manila from my Seoul trip! I am so excited to share to you what transpired during the trip with the rest of the Media Family! It's called Media Familiarization trip with Cebu Pacific, Korea Tourism Organization and JG Summit Holdings, Inc. but I called it a Media FAMILY trip with the Seoul Sisters!
I hope you were able to follow me on Instagram and Facebook and follow my whereabouts! If not, don't worry, I will definitely share my experiences in a blog post soon! When I take a breather.
As for today, it's a Monday so I definitely will give you another lipstick discovery, this time from the brand Pixi by Petra called MatteLast Liquid Lip.
There are a total of 5 shades released and I got my hands on these 2 ---

Housed in a solid plastic clear packaging with the Pixi By Petra mint green color as cap. I like it that I can see the shade immediately.
As for the applicator, it is diamond-shaped that is a bit soft so it moves along with you on every application. It is kinda softer than other applicator so it really depends on what you prefer! Since I have full and thick lips, the soft head applicator is okay for me but if you have smaller lips and need a bit more precision, you can opt to use a separate lip brush or cotton bud.
On to the shades that I got!
Pastel Petal is a nude beige shade that can be hailed as MLBB lip color. It is a cool-tone shade that works better for users who have fair to medium complexion.Really Rose on the other hand is a rose brown shade. This is a perfect coral-brick color that would work for all skin tone!
AMW wears Pastel Petal
This, I hail a very nice MLBB shade and it doesn't make me look sick at all! This is a great color whether you have minimal makeup or if you opt for heavy eye makeup!
AMW wears Really Rose
Really Rose looks almost medium rose pink on my heavily pigmented lips which I don't mind! It is a type of color that can make your skin appear warmer and give your face a bit more color!
After using both shades for almost 2 weeks, here's what I have to say ---
- Highly pigmented.
- Very easy to apply and started off semi-matte which is perfect as you can still control and fix your lip color before it dries completely.
- But once it dries completely, it is indeed a true matte lip color and is transfer-proof!
- Long-lasting lip colors and does not settle into my dry lip lines.
- Lightweight, doesn't feel heavy on lips.
- Both colors I own are universally flattering!
What's your pick from both shades that I wore?
Would you go for Pastel Petal or Really Rose IF you are getting married?
Keep smilin'
Stay happy!
Really rose can compete MAC mehr for my dream wedding.
