Let's start by wearing each of the 5 shades I got because I like you to see how these will look on an NC20 MAC Foundation shade, mostly Light Beige in other foundation with warm undertone.

I always start ascending shade numbers and if they don't have numbers, I go for the lightest shades first and starting with Meditator.

Meditator is a cool-tone light peach that works for those with darker complexion.  Imagine just how gorgeous this will look with no-makeup on Morena skin!  Grabe, your skin will glow even further!  This is also a nice MLBB shades for those with lightly colored lips.  

As you can see, it doesn't do justice on me as I need to have at least a defined-looking eye makeup to pull off this look.  Imagine thick eyeliner, maybe, soft smoky eyes with colored cheeks?  Definitely Workable but not my cup of tea.

Since we are on the topic of MLBB shades or something that looks quite natural and easy-to-wear even with not much makeup on.  De-Stresser is definitely the answer.

So anyways, I recently tried Maybelline newest Colorsensational Cushion Matte Lip Tints and these are amazing!  Maybelline always nailed their lip shades so I don’t even have to comment much on that - they just nail all the shades we want and works for us!  

I remembered talking to their previous Brand Manager and I was told they really take time to do a study on the shades that would work for Filipinas thus these or some of the shades were actually made for the Philippine market.  

All 5 shades are unique and beautiful in their own way, TBH, you don’t need all 5, there are quite a number of similar shades (a.k.a. First 3 and the last 2 is also close )  I said CLOSE, not same.  

The Devil Wears Red

My favorite red of them all!  A true blue tone red that would make my teeth look whiter, I apologize in advance for not smiling with teeth - I forgot! Hahaha but hey, trust my words for it!  It is so beautiful I can wear this alone without much makeup on and people would think I took an effort!

Heart Evangelista collaborated with L'Oreal for an exclusive lipstick collaboration called "L'Oreal x Love  Marie".  This collection is inspired by women who are in different stages of their lives.  According to Heart: "This represents not just me, but different kinds of women - somebody who is very strong, someone who is very shy, someone who is finding herself - so it represents different kinds of women that people can relate to".

There are a total of 5 lipstick shades personally picked by the actress under the Color Riche Line and here's an overview of all 5 of them worn by yours truly!

I love to do a collage on different shades of lipsticks coming from different brands just to show you the different effects each color gives!  Mind you, I have the same hairstyle, hair color, makeup, camera setting and I try my best to do the same smile on all photos but I look someone different on each because of how a different shade of lips can change the overall appearance and mood of the subject!

K-Palette Lasting Matte Liptints Review

When K-Palette released their Limited Edition Matte Lip Tints, I knew I have to try them out immediately as these were said to be Semi-matte, meaning, they won't be as drying as those I've been using for the past months or years!

They released 2 shades that are very wearable - Rose Pink and Mauve Red.  You can were them all over your lips like what I did on photo or create gradient lip effect by filling only the center of your lips and blend out with your fingertip.

I almost do not wear Red lipsticks nowadays.

Vice Ganda Good Vibes Matte Lipsticks Review

The first Vice Cosmetics I've tried is the Vice X Bang Collection.  

I liked it, I liked how it translates on camera but because of my crazy dry lips, I tend not to use it as much as I would like to!  And of course, you all know me, my life is quite boring - I send my son to and from school so I wear minimal and not so loud makeup as much as possible.

Because of the SM Lipstick Fest, I was able to grab a kit of Vice Ganda Good Vibes Matte Lipsticks set.  The set comes with 3 shades - a Nude, a Medium Tone and a Red!  That's the 3 shades EVERY women need in my humble opinion!

Without much expectations, I gave this a whirl for the past weeks and I am surprised how much I am loving these!

Well batch 2 is even crazier!  I even don't know why I'm smiling in these photos, I tried my best to think about the Adjectives but hey, Ms. Sunshine ain't doing EVIL or BITTER or even ANGER look --- mahirap ha!

My Birthday Face!

Hey AMW Friends!

So before we bid farewell to the month of February, I want to say --- It's My Birthday!!!  

There won't be anything super special today, I will still drive my son to and from school, be with him during nap time, study and do art activities with him and just a simple dinner with my family.

Yes, it seems like a normal day to all of you but that is what I choose to do on my birthday!  I'd rather stay home and spend time with my loved ones!

What will be my birthday look as I"m getting close to 40?  39 to be exact if you are still counting, this is the simplest look I have in mine with the help of Pink Sugar's newest HD Cheek Color and Sugar Tint Lip And Cheek Tint --- these 2 new products were released for the Valentine's season but I felt this is appropriate for how I feel on my special day --- Very much LOVED!  (By my friends, family and YOU!)

Let's start with glowing cheeks, I like cheeks that doesn't exude a lot of COLOR but more of cheeks looking fresh and glowing from within.  I was able to achieve that with the new HD Cheek Color shade in Paris Lights.

Snoe Rouge Deluxe Exotique Review

I got the SNOE Rouge Deluxe Exotique Lipsticks for months now and I only got the chance to write about these because I am really thinking hard on how to categorize these lipsticks.  

Okay, let me try to simplify everything by saying --- these are locally-made and are good quality (so I'm raising our National Flag proudly here!), these are highly pigmented and comes in shades that are wearable for any skin tone!  All 6 shades I got are wearable I tell you!  I can't pick a favorite and I just make a decision by simply grabbing ANY shade on my "SNOE" basket and I'll know they will look pretty good on me.

Now, on the other side of the coin, you have to bear in mind that I, the reviewer, have extremely dry and dehydrated lips (I've said it a lot of times but I have to remind all of you!), they feather, they crack so whenever I test new products, I test them ALONE and with the help of lip moisturizer or lip balm!

Maybelline has been doing well with their lip products.  I remember the Maybelline Colorsensationial Moisture Extreme Color was a hit to me thus I put a lot of those inside my professional KIT.  Then it gets better when Maybelline was able to join the Matte lipstick bandwagon with their Creamy Matte Lipsticks, they were really good I exchanged the Moisture Extreme Color to Creamy Matte inside my PRO KIT.

Then they excites everyone with The Powder Mattes, I love them so much I created a post sharing my favorite shade picks.  And within a span of less than a year, who would've though they would outdo themselves ...again?

Welcome 2018 with Bright Colors

Since I was a little girl, celebrating New Year means wearing something RED.

As I grow older, I understand the real meaning of New Year and wearing bright colors doesn't cover what's in your heart.  I strongly believe in having a BRIGHT Outlook in life to attract good vibes!

When Avon sent out their full collection of their True Color Perfectly Matte Lipsticks, I wasn't as excited to try and test them because at the back of my head, I thought these would be extremely drying and won't work well with my lip condition.
