A Pa-Tweetums' Guide to Vice x Bang Collection

As we were taking photos for the newest Vice x Bang Collection, Mr. AMW was teasing me how my "look" and outfit does not match the lipstick shades!

It turned into a nice idea, I know a lot would go for that "grunge" look as to go with some of the bold colors included in the collection, as for me, I prefer to WEAR the lipstick and not the Lipstick wear me.  (Naks!  Pa-deep!)

How would a Vice x Bang Collection fair on a user who likes simple makeup?  Someone who actually meets professionals and Big Bosses for work and someone who can actually play around with lip colors as a Professional Makeup Artist.

Well, here's the answer.

The shades are actually wearable, I personally LOVE the matte version more than anything else, but for certain collection like the lighter shades - I don't mind topping the glitter because they actually made my lips look healthy and glowing!

But I need to talk more about the quality of these liquid lipsticks.

According to Vice Cosmetics ---

Ganda with a Bang! The newest Vice x Bang collection is guaranteed to give your lips the attention it deserves.
Iconic Duo. Unkabogable star Vice Ganda and iconic stylist Bang Pineda team up to create a striking lipstick collection.
From extraordinary to extra glitzy. The collection includes Vice Cosmetic’s Phenomenal Matte liquid lipstick and a glitter lip topper for that Ganda with a Bang!

For easy reference, I took photos of the Matte Version and Matte + Glitter of all 4 collection!  I love MOWDEL and SAVEEEH for daily use and if I want to add some oomph, the last 2 shades are fine but I prefer not to top them with the glitter.

Let's talk about EACH Set.

Mowdel

Mowdel is a peach nude shade that works better on users with medium to darker complexion.  Fair-skinned gals can still use this but has to be careful with the choice of blush and eyeshadow color.  The Topper is a pinkish glitter and once combined, it gives a nice luminosity making the skin looks more vibrant than ever.

Though the matte version does feel tight on lips after several minutes of application, the added "glitter" topper works in hydrating the lips so all I need is to apply Glitter as often as possible for that added hydration.  But, after several hours, I prefer to top this with a regular lip balm as adding more Glitter will be equivalent to thicker-looking lips.

P.S. I love how fresh I look every time I wear this shade.

Saveeeh
Saveeeh is a rosy brown tone that works for ALL skin tones.  The Topper is my favorite of them all!  It has champagne gold flecks that looks extremely flattering on any base lip color!

Saveeeh looks so flattering on me, it warms my skin making my hair color pop even more in person!  I love how it gives the 90's vibe with a modern twist.

Rrrahmpa
Rrrahmpa is a deep red wine shade.  The topper is similar to my favorite polish color and it has a nice iridescence that brings out different colors in different angles.

For some reason, the darker shades are more drying to me than ever!  I find the color to be gorgeous but I felt it goes really tight on my lips after just a few minutes of application.  Just like most liquid matte lipsticks, I need to prep my lips really well prior to using.

I love the Matte Plus Glitter combination on days I'm too lazy to wear any makeup but wanted to make a statement.  This will give you that statement you need!

Fashown
Fashown is a deep berry shade.  The topper is called a periwinkle with Blue Glitter Flex which really creates STATEMENT whenever worn!

Fashion is a wild deep berry shade on fair-skinned users like me.  I like the color but the texture, again, is a bit more drying than the light-colored ones.  With the Glitter, it is beautiful on photos but I can't wear them because it is a bit too loud and bright!

Overall, Vice x Bang Collection is a great collection in terms of color and versatility.  I like how a matte color will look totally different with the glitter topper added.  I even like to use the Glitter Topper as a base sometimes to create more "depth" without the obvious sparkles!  That's another way to wear this collection.

The texture of all the Matte and Glitter Liquid Lipsticks are very smooth and easy-to-apply.  The pigmentation is extremely great and I get full-on color from tube to lips in just a single swipe.  As expected, the only downside on users with dehydrated lips will really feel the "tightening" effect.  The product drinks up your lip moisture so make sure to hydrate your lips really well before using them.

I will wear Mowdel and Saveeeh more often while the last 2 darker shades are best worn for night events or when I am asked to wear bold makeup looks.
