Long-Lasting Gradient Lips Tutorial

At some point in our  makeup application, we have tried gradient lips after seeing how gorgeous they look on K-Drama actresses.

I am definitely one of those!  But after going through various application techniques, I can't seem to create a similar one like those on K-Dramas!  Mine would look great after application but blotchy after an hour or so!  It is because I have extremely dry lips and I ended up licking my lips or lot or applying lip balm in between multiple times making my gradient lipstick effect slide down the drain!

After several tries, I finally created one that lasts longer, looks good and non-blotchy and I can finally say, long-lasting!

You don't need to use the same products I used but the same layering of products could be the same!

Vice Ganda Good Vibes Matte Lipsticks Review

The first Vice Cosmetics I've tried is the Vice X Bang Collection.
I liked it, I liked how it translates on camera but because of my crazy dry lips, I tend not to use it as much as I would like to!  And of course, you all know me, my life is quite boring - I send my son to and from school so I wear minimal and not so loud makeup as much as possible.

Because of the SM Lipstick Fest, I was able to grab a kit of Vice Ganda Good Vibes Matte Lipsticks set.  The set comes with 3 shades - a Nude, a Medium Tone and a Red!  That's the 3 shades EVERY women need in my humble opinion!

Without much expectations, I gave this a whirl for the past weeks and I am surprised how much I am loving these!

A Pa-Tweetums' Guide to Vice x Bang Collection

As we were taking photos for the newest Vice x Bang Collection, Mr. AMW was teasing me how my "look" and outfit does not match the lipstick shades!

It turned into a nice idea, I know a lot would go for that "grunge" look as to go with some of the bold colors included in the collection, as for me, I prefer to WEAR the lipstick and not the Lipstick wear me.  (Naks!  Pa-deep!)

How would a Vice x Bang Collection fair on a user who likes simple makeup?  Someone who actually meets professionals and Big Bosses for work and someone who can actually play around with lip colors as a Professional Makeup Artist.

Well, here's the answer.

The shades are actually wearable, I personally LOVE the matte version more than anything else, but for certain collection like the lighter shades - I don't mind topping the glitter because they actually made my lips look healthy and glowing!

But I need to talk more about the quality of these liquid lipsticks.

According to Vice Cosmetics ---

Ganda with a Bang! The newest Vice x Bang collection is guaranteed to give your lips the attention it deserves.
Iconic Duo. Unkabogable star Vice Ganda and iconic stylist Bang Pineda team up to create a striking lipstick collection.
From extraordinary to extra glitzy. The collection includes Vice Cosmetic’s Phenomenal Matte liquid lipstick and a glitter lip topper for that Ganda with a Bang!

For easy reference, I took photos of the Matte Version and Matte + Glitter of all 4 collection!  I love MOWDEL and SAVEEEH for daily use and if I want to add some oomph, the last 2 shades are fine but I prefer not to top them with the glitter.
