A Perfect Day and Night Combo

A woman needs 2 types of lipstick, a natural one and one that gets attention!

I call it 1 MLBB shade (my lips but better) and one Bright Red shade that works like a charm whenever you use it!  

When I say works like a Charm, I'm not pertaining to getting a date at once, a quick reminder that makeup is really for oneself!  We don't wear makeup for other people okay?

I used to buy just one primer and use it all over my face and wonder why I'm not a fan of it.

I know it's the start of a new year and I told myself to wear more colored lip products more often!  As much as I've been trying my best, I can't keep my hands away from browns when I saw the newest Matte Me Browns from Sleek MakeUP.

In a way, some shades are super nice for daily use for the others are meant for special occasions. Remember the movie The Craft?  Well, the 2 darkest shades reminded me on that!  But it's just because I am so fair the dark brown appears super distinct!

I remembered being a start-up Beauty Blogger, I find it so difficult to go to Cosmetics Stores or counters just to take photos!  I remember I had to really sneak my way into taking swatch photos and product photos in-stores just because....I got looks for staffs.

It was one of those launches I knew I had to get my butt off my home office and muster my courage for at least 2 hour traffic from my place to Makati because Sleek Makeup is launching their Highlighting Collection!

HIGHLIGHTING GUYS!  My magic word when it comes to makeup!

Highlighting for me is like someone carrying a spotlight with you wherever you go!  it's one of crucial makeup routine that makes people say: "Freshness ka ha!"  

Di ka man gorgeous, at least FRESH ka :P

The launch was held at SM Makati and I came in wearing comfortable clothing and almost bare-faced.  The weather was extremely hot that day!
